I watched recently "ad astra" aside from obvious flaws, it was great when You look deeper into the idea itself.
This picture made me feel similar as to what I felt watching "ad astra".
dang, space is great.

The moon is one of the most beautiful things in the night sky. I love to go to Barbados in February and watch the moon rise. If you are up late enough you can see the Southern Cross too.

I have a pretty good telescope and Jupiter looks stunning with colour filters applied I would rate that over the sun but I know what you mean that is the beauty of a forum it is opinions.

You may be disappointed on what you find up there. Apparently the moon isn't made out of cheese.

I have a soft spot for Jupiter, but H_alpha just pips it for me.
this sunspot is about the same size as Jupiter.

The sun is even more thought provoking with close ups than Jupiter or Saturn. I could literally spend hours looking for details in this image

thanks Kapone32, my master image on my pc is 84mb but had to shrink it down to less than 10mb to post the master shows much more fine detail. it was a wonderful AR very easy to capture and process with it being big.

I have a soft spot for Jupiter

I recently got a bit of a craze over Europa.
I mean if thats not the most intriguing moon in the solar system (well,maybe except of enceladus) then I dont know what is.
Been reading papers on its ice shell and possibilities of whats underneath.
If I could only be able to observe it on my own...

agreed Europa is most interesting, I could imagine what it would be like to be on the suface seeing those geysers spouting into space we would catch a few rads from Jupiter too .
