Weird GPU Readings

Before proceeding here are my specs:
MSI GE72VR 6RF APACHE PRO
i7-6700HQ
GTX 1060 6GB
16GB RAM

So I have been having this issue with my laptop GPU where it would crash under load, like suddenly just turn off, and I would be required to restart the laptop for the GPU to turn on again, I have been trying to diagnose this issue with MSI for quite a while and we're still looking into it (Can't just replace as I have no warranty). I decided to use GPU-Z to see if theres overheating or any readings out of the ordinary, then I found this.

Constant drops of the temperature to 0 degrees. I am not sure if theres an issue with my GPU sensor itself. Could this have some relation to my GPU constantly failing while under load? I have also attached System info, and a log while playing GTA V (At which one point it crashes).

I have:
- Updated BIOS/ Reflashed
- Used DDU to clear all drivers and reinstall latest
- Used DDU to clear all drivers and install stock drivers
- Opened up the laptop, repasted, cleaned fans (Laptop used to overheat alot)
- Undervolting GPU
- Undervolting CPU

On a side note, there was a bitcoin miner virus on my laptop for awhile that I wasn't aware of (for about 2 weeks), my laptop is already quite old, do you think that would of squeezed my GPU?

Since this is GPU-Z forum, I guess most of the answers would be related to the reading, but if theres any correlation to the main issue that would be great. If you need any more information on my computer feel free to ask I will provide it asap.

I'm not sure of the cause, but did notice in your TXT that your GPU is switching between Perfcap Reason 16 and 0 for periods of time.
This is reflected in the screenshot of GPU-z.
Perfcap 0 means the card is working as it should, 16 that it is not getting instruction.
Did your Laptop come with Optimus or similar software for switching of the GPU?
Perhaps @W1zzard can assist.

Are your crashes aligned with those "0" readings? i.e. if it goes to 0 the game crashes immediately? Or does it run over several of those and crash randomly after a longer time?

Sorry I should of made it clear that the screenshot picture was taken while my laptop was IDLE, I was not playing any games.

I'm on a laptop so it's most likely idle in the GPU-Z reading (PICTURE) because no games were running and it was probably running on my Intel HD at the time.
Edit: Also why the load is 0% in the screenshot

It runs over several of them and only crashes at the end, time is quite unpredictable, every game has a different time of crashing, for example GTA V ran for a good 20 minutes before crashing, Terraria about 45, Minecraft 30 (With shaders), Call Of Duty Warzone (The moment I join a game it crashes after deployment).

Once it crashes, sometimes I can shutdown the game and the GPU is just off, it doesn't turn back on until I restart (By off i mean its literally undetectable, if i go to device manager and scan for hardware changes it just crashes). Again, sometimes the whole laptop just freezes and I have to force restart.

Just a note (I',m hpold witha phone call for a minute) When looking at Log Files, the only relevant portions are those that say Warming or Error. You should be seeing these at the time stamp of when your crashed occur. Limiting the information to just the relevant parts will get you answers quicker. Gotta go ... will try and look back later.
