the only directories i can find are for the K8N

hmmm....are their any bios settings the new one provides? now that you have the new bios try fiddling with the memory remap....also are you sure that the 182's dont support the 295? try giving those a run. imo we can eliminate problems but in all honesty with the problems quad sli originaly brung and with a new card and new drivers i think whats really going on here is beta testing more than trouble shooting if anything.

185.20 is what im using and it works fine with single 295s.

there is no remap setting in this boards bios now that i looked.

well if it orks with 1 perhaps they added something or fiddled with something that had something spacifically to do with sli and this alteration just happens to be buggy?

although... plenty of other people seem to get it to work so wtf?

this is the 11th time i've reinstalled in less than 24hours.

the 295s run fine on evga x58

this vantage problem has to be driver related though. i had this same problem with the 2 4870x2s

at this point i honestly think that both are still a problem driver and board alike. the only way i see out of it atm..is eaither some crazy tweaking of both or a new update for both.
