I want to pick up 4X4 Gb RAM for Gigabyte 990XA-UD3, and i have found these modules:

Kingston Hyperx 16 Gb 1866 MHz C9
Patriot AMD Edition 1866 MHz C9 or 1600 MHz C8
Crucial Ballistix Tactical 1866 MHz C9 or 1600 MHz C8

There are other RAM, but those have a too high heatsink, or are considerably more expensive.
So, what is this AMD Edition RAM and does it offer any benefit?

What cpu and mainboard are you going to use it with? You'll want to balance the ram to what what the mainboard and the processor can handle. Your Gigabyte 990XA can handle up to DDR3 2000, while your Phenom II I believe is limited to DDR3 1333. You can buy the faster ram and underclock it to 1333 if you're planning to eventually upgrade the processor. If not you'll want to look at DDR3 1333 ram... As a plus it might be a bit cheaper too.
