On a freshly installed 580 alongside a gtx 280 for physx; I get great performance although temps are a bit on the high side... during far cry 2, heaven 2 : 85-87c on load, 62% fan speed, idle- 47c,42% fan speed. I do have 3 case fans and a side intake fan on the cards.
I reckon the 280 is blocking some cool air from the 580...
The 280 is running 50c idle.
I guess it is a common issue with dual card systems, but are the temps within acceptable range? Is it possible to increase the GPU fan load speeds?:shadedshu
