if you want 2 gigs of ram, stick with a 2 gig kit, dont get 4 sticks of ram, your ram overclocks will be awful

ok dude get the industry standard if you plan to overclock :respect: OCZ EL Platinum (Rev.2) 2x512.:rockout: the reason being is you dont need a gig right now, next being 4 sticks wont clock as well as 2, and these just kick so much ass! If you read benchmarks, the ram that is used is usually this. it has got quite a bit of head room so if you plan to do some aggressive overclocking, these will handle all your needs. plus considering other kits, these do not cost too much:D. you thank yourself if you get them trust me!

Exactly. Always stay with 2 sticks if you want overclocking.

sorry i never said i was going to get 4 sticks. i want a good 1gb oc as crazy sticks. also i want them to fit my mb asus a8v deluxe. if i get another hell yea on the ocz or the patriot ill get either one. i was lost which ones i would want. ocz sounds cool to me. i had patriot 2 gb but they were bad. so i had to return them. if i get patriot again and they are bad i will never like patriot again. so i think im gonna get ocz sticks. does anyone have them?

for 200 for 1 gig i would get this
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820227217
    or this close dision
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820227202

problably go with 1st one becase its a bit faster better the 2nd ones timinging are great which = smoothness but tough ocing becase your spending the money on the timings so why oc it with higher timing back to the first one this is gaming power (not that #2 isnt)but it has speed and will oc nicly
