I know that Bill Gates will probably never ever read this forum, but if he does, don't you think it would be nice to have a thread where we put all the things we want windows to HAVE instead of having him put a bunch of stuff that we don't want on Vista? Basically, just post what you want windows to have :p.

lets see...less stuff originally running, removal of the crappy coding-wait you meant that we want. well i wish the windows search (f3) was better and i wish he would make it more customizable. like the start menu could be arranged hundreds of ways but why do we have to have it be default?

lol yeah...and you can be imaginative :D. I want it to be linux based, extremely efficient, and not need the latest and greatest hardware to run demanding software like Quake 4. And from what I've seen, Windows is already extremely customizable . Just run a google search for "windows XP tweaks", see what comes up :p.

SIMPLE graphic interface and no bling. For all I care, windows could be txt based as long as I could execute bf2 in a graphical interface.

 Bill Gates should do that to make up for swindling us with Windows 9x :). And yeah, I'd be just fine with running Windows in a Windows 3.1-styel interface, as long as games could boot up with all eye candy and play well :D. Oh yeah I also want it to be dirt cheap...when I was configuring my system on newegg, I knew that $90 was a little rich. That kind of money could be put toward a MAJOR graphics upgrade .
