what graphics card?

    am gonna buy a new graphics card soon , i dont reall ywanna have to spend more than about £320 um dunno wo tthat is in dollars. which card is best for that amount of money, i have come to my own conclusions i just wanna see if u guys have any better ideas.

    $380 usd isnt it?

    PCI-express? or AGP? Should be able to get an x850 for that price, or a 6800U maybe. :)

    pci e. whats better though? i was thinking about an X850 XT but is that better or worse than a 6800 ultra? or is the new ATI card really only around the corner?

    Actually I believe 1 pound is like 1.4-1.5 euro's. And the euro is more than the dollar...
    Not really a budget problem I'd say. What Board do you use? SLI(crossfire) capable?

    x850xt > 6800u imo.. but i saw somewhere someone got a 7800gtx for 380E :eek: dunno what country though.

    i intend to get an ASUS A8N-E (939) i wasnt gonna bother with one that was SLI capable. but i would maybe reconsider. any good SLI cards within that limit i said?

    SLI configurations can be finicky. At least they are in a forum I frequent allot. Always someone with problems getting SLI set up.

    yeh thats why i was thinking of avoiding them in the first place. dunno though.

    hmmm, much is that in £? i have seen a pci-express X850 XT for around £285. although i have seen the pro version for about £200 its vivo can u unlock the other pipelines?
