Hey if you want the Rampage IV EXTREME (EATX), you won't find a better price than this!

http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=65538&promoid=1230

price match at

http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX36610

and 3930K

http://www.hookbag.ca/product/H3C06MNHU/

http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX36729

950.75$ + 9$ ship + tax

It's a bit over budget, but if you want the top dog motherboard, this is it. You were looking at ~350$ mobos, well for a tad bit more you get a beast. Remember this is EATX though, which doesn't fit in a HAF 922. Still I thought I'd mention it just in case

It's not just over budget, it leaves no money for memory. Honestly, 2 more cores for twice the price isn't worth it unless 6-core is really going to benefit you. The 3820 over-clocks plenty well too.

He already has the memory really, and memory is cheap, and his budget isn't set in stone

I had a Zalman once and it was great for a mild overclock but that was almost 10 years ago. Air cooling has come a long way since then to the point where you can tuly overclock your board without fear of over heating.

Still though, I like the clean look, lighter weight and less strain on the PCB that a no maintenance water solution provides. If my buddy doesn't want the H100 I may see of he wants to buy my H70.... Actually, anyone Here want it?

Update yippeee!!!!!

Hey folks,

today at around 1:30pm EST I got my shipment.

1 Asus P9x79 DELUXE
1 Corsair H100
1 i7 3930K CPU

All from Directcanada.com and at a pretty good price I might add. Since I am doing the night shift and I will have some time to spare between 3am and 5am I will be doing the build at work. While I wait I have a few questions.

1. Can I migrate 2 RAID0 arrays over to the new Motherboard by just connecting the SATA cables or will I need to unistall some things prior to making the physical change? Is there a website that explains all this in a step by step format? Both the Raid Arrays will have Windows 7 but the one with the 2 SSD drives in RAID0 will be the primary OS as it has always been with my existing MOBO.

2. Is there anything I should be aware of or looking out for during the build as it will be on a solid wood table. What grounding precations should I take prior to as I don't have a grounding wrist strap.

Is there anything else I should know? FYI, I will be reinstalling Windows on a single Mushkin 240Gb SSD as I hear that it is smoking fast on a 6GB/s Sata port. In the meantime I just want to get the whole thing up and running.

Cheers to everyone and thanks for all the help. Looking forward to a fun build in the wee hours of the night. :)
