So i sent my gpu ( asus rx 470 8gb strix) to retailer for manufacturer warranty and they sent me rx 580 8gb nitro+ as replacement which has signs of its beeing used. It has this bios ( in attachment . And after uploading using gpu-z it said its new vbios ( https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/218168/218168 ).

So my question is should i keep it because it looks like they sent me card which was used for mining or should i put original vbios on it ( which one if you could suggest me the right one ).

That card has a dual bios switch

You are likely on the quiet bios.

So you flipped the switch?

Get a gpu-z screenshot please

I told you in 2st post that i did filp the switch before i did anything and the bios is the same no matter what switch it is. Its just performance mode and bios was modified what you dont understand here?

Switch is changing card performance mode not vbios .

I provided link to vbios which was on the card that came to me and you can clearly see the last 2 values are the same which is probably miner card.

ONCE AGAIN VBIOS CHECK VALUES THEY LOOK SUSPICIOUS :

#edit EXAMPLE:

1750 MHz: 16-16-26-26-77-22-192
2000 MHz: 14-14-24-24-69-22-157 <??

1750 MHz: 17-17-24-24-73-19-192
2000 MHz: 21-21-26-26-70-23-192
2250 MHz: 21-21-26-26-70-23-192 <192 everywhere ?

Performance bios have higher power level (tdp/amps) and agressive fan curves, get the screenshot of the bios in both positions and a link to both.

I've been dealing with many of these cards so get the info please.

Flip switch to left, get the screenshot and link to file and then flip switch to right get screenshot and link to file.

In order to get help you need to provide info requested.

Here you go.

Verified Silent 1340/2000 bios for left bios switch position.

Verified performance bios for right switch position.

Here is a memory verify tool but if you want to know absolutely if your ram is hynix with mjr or ajr chips the card must come apart.

THE SERIAL NUMBER ON THE PACKAGE OF CARD IS DIFFERENT FROM THE CARD ITSELF INSIDE !

If i send card for a manufacurer warranty and replacement was issued they have to send me original card (serial number inside should match the package serial number?) and not card that not matches the package ?

They may not have it, also who ever you are dealing with relating to card swaps stop buying from them and buy brand new.

I provided you with the 2 files needed above, flash and press on

This shop is non existant and bancrupt they only were bridge between me and asus manufacturer of my previous card and they sent me this card sapphire rx 580 as replacement to my previous damaged one. "manufacturer warranty" was issued. Card has signs of beeing used ( little burned sticker) also modified vbios and serial number on box not matching serial number inside.

After flashing your vbioses it seems right i have 2 different gpu-z screens and all verfied and not unverified. Also card is loud when under load probably either some1 sent it for replacement and they gave it as "manufacturer warranty" cuz they wanted to get rid of it.

I'm confused - the Asus Strix RX 470 you had was under manufacturer (Asus) warranty but you chose to go through the seller? That just sounds like unnecessary steps taken when you could've just contacted Asus directly.

As @eidairaman1 said, stop buying from/utilizing this retailer as it's obvious they're not performing to your expectations

Its impossible to make "manufacturer warranty" without retailer in the middle. Anyways thanks @eidairaman1 your bioses seems to work.

Glad you got the BIOS situation figured out.

How do you figure? I had an issue with my Corsair RAM kit a few months back. Originally purchased it through Amazon. I contacted Corsair support directly with the serial number and explained the issues I had and they sent me a brand new replacement kit. No need to get Amazon involved.

Yeah, they are different brands. But you should've been able to contact Asus (the manufacturer) directly and source a replacement from them. I assume you would have to contact Asus support beforehand, but they have instructions on their website for printing a shipping label, so you can definitely ship products under warranty directly to them for replacement.
