I've noticed in hwinfo64 in the sensors page is V1 and it looks to be one of my vcore settings because it is the only sensor that drops to like ~ .8 volts at idle and way over my set vcore at load. For example my vcore in bios is set at manual static voltage of 1.261, and on the core sensors it goes to 1.28 which is fine because my mobo overvolts a tiny bit. but on this V1 sensor it goes up from .8 idle to 1.36 Vcore!!!

I've googled this V1 readout and I found maybe 2 forums that really did'nt answer the question what is V1. One website I think the author said to ask Asus.

Maybe try checking against AIDA64 for reference. Might have a better description as well.

Thanks for the advice and reference Aida64 has cpu core- 1.262. It fluctuates a tiny bit in aida like 1.26-1.262 at load.
I did not see a value for V1 IN AIDA64.

In HWinfo64 sensors tab this V1 readout is in the Asus EC: Asus Aii series section.

Hmm I suppose I could check my own Z97 and see if I can find a connection. I run my AI Suite pretty lean as I only use it for fan control. The voltages you state sound like CPU voltage to me as mine is 1.27 at load.

Makes sense. I only use AIDA and I don’t have the full AI Suite installed.

Still have'nt figured this out meanwhile my sweet 4790k is at 1.272 vcore and on this sensor it goes from .8 to 1.4 at load.

No one notices this with an asus board in the ecu section of hwinfo64? On v1 sensor when overclocking?

I've posted at 3 websites and still have'nt found out what this sensor is reading.
Thanks for replies
