What is your 7950 OC at and what temps do you get?

Mine is currently going to stay at 1000/1425/20% slider. Never gets above 58 Celsius.


Just curious to see what other 7950 owners get. :toast:

Also, W1zzard really needs to find a way to unlock the shaders on this like he did the 6950... basically my clocks are 7970 Ghz edition... just need those shaders now!!!

I game at 1300/1600 with 1.22v which performs great.


Your system specs states your gpu is at 1100/1425. Which one is it?

Do you have the new revised TF3 HD7950 with HD7970 pcb?


Ambient temperature 23.6C

1300/1600 with under 1.2v.





Over 2 hours of looping Heaven. Stable.
Ambient Temp 25C.



Can go faster.

i normally game at 1000/1450 and its kind of stable at 1100/1550, however, i dont seem to be able to get even close to the clocks some people seem to get regardless of voltages, its always being unstable somehow. I also get really nasty voltage drops when i up the voltages a bit( ie setting the voltage at 1,24 and it drops to 1,14 under load)

Edit: the temps are around 70degrees at stock, 74 at 1000 core, in the upper 70ies to 80ies when upping the voltage. I've got an ultra cheap-ass club 3d cooler( one with the fan in the middle) and a reference AMD board.

I updated my system specs, not stable at 1100 core and anything above 1450 memory crashes me. haven't tried voltage tweaks yet. just power slider to 20%.

So yeah, 1000 core, and 1450 mem is all I can get out of this card without voltage tweaks... it is the 7970 PCB model. Read some people got unlocked shaders as well, mine didn't though heh. :(

Edit: Tried 1.22 volts through Msi Afterburner, 20% powerslider, 1100 core and 1575 mem, and crashed within 20 seconds and I wasn't doing anything. heh.
