What is your favourite Skyrim mod ?

I'm new to the Steam Workshop, but have found some great mods that make the game so much better. However, there are over 8,000 mods, way to many for me to search through!

My question is: What is your favorite Skyrim mod, what does it do / how does it work, what are the pro's / con's ??

Usually, this would be the point where I tell you mine, but I've only used the workshop for a week so my opinion may be premature!!

None of them stick out to me yet. Most act like they are more than they are..
Most of the graphics mods mess up something to fix something..

Most of the things I like are things I did in the inis myself..lol..
Shadows res, lod distance etc..

lol ok, what about things that are not fixes, but more like additions - hermit's treehouse for example? do you think it's cheating, or a nice addition ?

hard to pick a favorite, D007 seems to have forgotten about the functional mods, not everything was to fix bad graphics (as the graphics weren't bad to begin with, they just could have been better). Plus there are a few that do make a major difference (night sky)

It's between the highlight ore mod, the night sky mod, or the map mods (better looking map with all roads on it, etc). Without the ore mod there's no way I could have advanced my smithing so quickly. The other two are obvious as to why.

other runner ups are the no more dirty faces mod, the hair mod, and the better clothing texture mod.

ENBseries I think is probably my favorite mod. Fixes and adds what bethesdas engine isn't able to provide, without completely crippling game performance.

Advanced Bloom
Parallax
Indirect Lighting
SSAO
Per Pixel Shadows
Bokeh DOF
................and i think I forgot some. People can hate on ENB all they want, but there is no mod out there that provides Real HDR(bloom) the game has bloom from the beginning but its fake, just like 80% of the shadows in the game, Per Pixel Shadow filter and other advanced things that are in next gen games.

EDIT: In terms of graphical mods ENBseries for sure. In terms of gameplay and things like that, I dont have to many of those. Mainly mod the game for aethetics becuase IMO it looks like ass in the vanilla one. Oh and Static Mesh Improvement Mod SMIM is a very close 2nd to ENB in terms of favorite graphic mod.

The Dragon Souls to Perks mod - it kinda breaks the game but I just shove the difficulty up a little and it's all balanced again.
