I'm facing with some DRAM stability issues for 2000 infinity fabric (FCLK) on AMD Ryzen 5800x. The PC loads and able to run some benchmarks with no issues. However, the PC is not stable as it randomly restarts.
So for 2000 IF I have raised VDDCR SOC to 1.125 V, VDDG CCD to 0.920 V, VDDG IOD to 1.040 V, CLDO VDDP to 0.920 V and DRAM Voltage from 1.35V to 1.40V (I tried to set DRAM to 1.45V but seems like system became even more unstable so I switched back DRAM voltage back to 1.40V). And from there I started to squeeze DRAM memory timings.

If you have stable 2000 IF please provide some tips and please post your ZEN timings for other to get some tips.

Motherboard: Asus Rog Strix B550-I (Bios version 2803)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5800x
RAM: Crucial Ballistic Max 2x16gb (32GB) 4000 MHz, Micron B-die - BLM16G40C18U4B

Did you ever check Windows Event Viewer for WHEA warnings/errors?
Very few systems can run 2000MHz on MCLK/UCLK/FCLK without any WHEA warnings/errors even if the system "looks" stable.

You may need a lot better cooling on those microns past the 1.4V
Did you try to relax timings even more?
tRFC: around 600 ? ...or more

No one really can give you settings that you can copy/paste on your system. Past 1800MHz is a real lottery between board capability (from memory topology to PCB traces quality, DRAM chips and PCB quality and last but not least CPU capability for high speed memory that is mostly subject on its substrate (again, PCB traces quality)

I have a 32GB Kit of Micron Rev. B 16GB SR. Unfortunately I did not spend enough time fine tunning it VDDP/CCD/IOD was left on AUTO, but
this was stable with GMD disabled 1T. Micron RAM does not run hot like Samsung B-die because they usually dont need high voltages and dont do very low RCDRD.

Your tCL is 18 but tCWL is 14. I have seen it at -2 but not many configs may work with -4. You can try tCWL 16/18 or drop tCL 16

What specific DDR-4400 CL19 memory kit is that with? And is your CPU a golden sample?

This is incredibly hard to achieve - but i've also learned my RAM stability is tied to my CPU temps. Locked to 70C i'm totally stable, but I've got a chance at random crashes if the CPU hits 75C

I have a rev E kit that do 4000, it performs similar to rev B.

A few things you should change:
CL 16 (may work)
RAS 34
WR 16
RTP 8
RDWR 10
WRRD auto
CWL 16

I would also try 2t gdm off so you can try CL 17.

You should be able to get sub 60ns on your current settings. There may be throttling due to massive WHEA19 reporting, some voltages may be too low (SOC or IOD).

The Kit I have is the Crucial Ballistix MAX 4400 C19.

The OPs kit should not be much different. I believe his is a 4000 C18 16GB SR but should perform similar
to the 4400 C19 16GB SR.

My 5600X is Dual CCD but I can get same RAM OC results with my 5600 non X so I cant say its a golden sample.

If anyone wants to identify what RAM is being used just look at the bottom of the Zentiming App and
google the model number. This is how you can identify most memory modules.

Important info is sometimes availble here like what brand the RAM is, or if its E-die or B-die, SR or DR.
Although it does not work on every RAM module. It can be useful.

Ugh, right, I'm dumb - "BLM" = "BaLlistix Memory".

Also noticed that your board is only on AGESA 1.2.0.3, do you use that because it's best for RAM stability? Or simply because you haven't updated to the latest BIOS?

Was an old screenshot. I am on AGESA 1.2.0.7 for awhile no issues. took the 5600X out have the 5600 non X in at the moment. 5600X was placed in another B450M Mortar Max.

Its basically a rejected 5900X it has 1 CCD disabled. Screenshot will follow soon. HWINFO64 does report two CCD sensors

Right you are!
Maybe its a reject 5950X then not 5900X. It does OC very well for a 5600X but never pushed it more than 5025Mhz..
My 5600 non X is plenty fast so not really using the 5600X at the moment. Will probably start benching it again next week.

There is a 7-Zip score I have my sights on that needs to be beaten. @QuietBob ;)

After increasing VDDCR SOC voltage from 1.125 to 1.135 and VDDG IOD Voltage from 1.040 to 1.060 now I'm able to set TCL to 16 from 18 and squeeze some other DRAM memory timings. As a result the latency in Aida64 cache and memory Benchmark is now below 60ns. However, the system is still unstable as I'm getting massive amount of WHEA 20 errors. Also when disabling Gear Down Mode (GDM) with current DRAM timing and SOC and IOD voltage set-up, I have to clean CMOS.
I also noticed that there are massive amount of WHEA 20 errors on 2000 FCLK Asus Rog Strix B550-I XMP profile so it looks like even XMP profile is unstable (or stable as it can be for such high frequency). Or perhaps I'm missing something. Any additional advice how could I stabilize my system is welcome!

Sometimes is just interconnect voltage. I put a pair of B-Die back in with my 5600X to play around.. Was a little rusty because those wheas were going brrr. Tweaked my interconnects and voila good to go. Wish my 5900X would just comply.. for once :D

What was your SOC, CCD, IOD and CLDO voltage set-up on 5600x?

1.156v SOC, VDDG CCD .999, VDDG IOD 1.065, CLDO .999 and 1.475v vdimm for 2000 16-16-16-38 with GDM on. That set does not like high speed flat 15s or 14s like my Royals.

With the current set-up system also crashes randomly. So it not just amount of WHEA errors. Something clearly needs to be corrected.
Check event viewer. WHEA19: ram related or infinity fabric if you get bus/interconnect as error source. WHEA18: cpu/core related, if it happends stock W/O pbo and curve optimizer, something is wrong.

Too low or too high voltages can lead to random restarts, unstable infinity fabric is the usual suspect. I have gotten radom reboots when CCD/VDDP was too low, tried running them at 0.79v, seemed stable, but wasn't. 0.8v is rock solid.

1.156v SOC, VDDG CCD .999, VDDG IOD 1.065, CLDO .999 and 1.475v vdimm for 2000 16-16-16-38 with GDM on. That set does not like high speed flat 15s or 14s like my Royals.
It also varies greatly between CPUs. Some with 5800X3D can run absurdly low voltages at 3800.
At 3800 I need:
1.06V SOC
0.98V IOD
0.8V CCD/VDDP
1.6V VDD18

At 4000 I need:
1.11V SOC
1.03V IOD
0.8V CCD/VDDP
1.88V VDD18 ( this is the reason I run 3800 even if performance is slightly worse, VDD18 increases temp quite a bit)

Below this I either get instability or lower performance.

A guy I talked to with 5800X3D can run SOC 1.0V 0.95V IOD without problems, other may need 1.15V SOC/1.05V IOD for 3800. Big variance!

From the model number of your dimms they are most likely Samsung B-die not Micron Rev. B has per the OP's tittle.
You could probably do much lower primary timings with the correct Voltages and settings.

Most likely not going to be WHEA free with that low VSOC and IOD voltages.

If your RAM is this then it is Samsung B-die

These are Micron Rev B @ 4200 FCLK 2100. This is on a 5600 non X tray CPU so nothing special and a MSi B450 mobo.
