Acer Nitro XV273K. 27" 4K120 IPS, overclockable to 144Hz but nah, that would take away Freesync and HDR. Paid 150EUR used from this.

Lenovo L32p-30 as secondary monitor, 32" 4K60 IPS.

I bought it because of the specs for 360€

calibrated with calibration paper, mine is below 1 delta E

I'm happy because the AMD freesync range is from ~35 - 75 Hz (or 40-75). I mostly played my games with around 40-45 FPS and did not saw any negative impacts.

The loudspeakers are bad - but that is obvious.

Damn I was disappointed with both on my 4K monitors, I thought that monitor speakers in the 2020s would be at least acceptable, but hell, I have a 2004 laptop with better sound quality.

Eizo flexscan ev2455, 1920x1200. 16:10 ratio is much better for work, at least for me, but it comes with a price premium compared to the 16:9 versions.

With everyone showing off newer ultra wide, curved, 4K, high refresh, and monitors that make their coffee, I'll go the other way and show what is the oldest piece of PC hardware I still use.

This isn't just an older monitor I "still have", it's been my daily one since 2010.

It's 24", 16:10 1920 x 1200, 60 Hz, and IPS. I don't have many major disappointments with it, but there's some minor ones. I would like 1440p and higher refresh at some point though. (I'd really like 1600p but I feel 16:10 is a unicorn in new displays outside of laptops at this point.)

I have no idea how much the brightness has fell over time (CCFLs lose brightness with age) but it's at 50% and still very bright. I've basically always ran it at 50% (below that starts negatively impacting some image factors) so I haven't had to raise this yet. I will increase it to 67% at times when it's very sunny and bright, but that's to combat the higher ambient light and not because the monitor itself is fading.

I did have it fail to power on at one point either late last year or earlier this year, and that was when I told myself "so it happened, took you long enough", but... it wouldn't give up! Unplugging the power cable, trying to discharge power, and plugging it back in got it to work. There's been no issues since.

It's been the "year I'll maybe finally replace it" for the last few years now, haha. I think at this point I'm committed to using it until it fails. Or "maybe this will be the year" (once next year starts).

I have 3 of these monitors for a total resolution of 5760x1200. Bought all them 2nd hand for a total of €130. Best deal ever. Very happy with them.

For Another PC i use a 32" LG TV

For retro builds a Iiyama and LiteOn 17 CRT

And in the living room a HTPC with 350w using Panasonic Vierra 42" Plasma.

In the bedroom HTPC with LG led 42" TV

I remember when the U2410 was considered legendary, or at least some Dell Ultrasharp 16:10 back then was considered a legendary monitor, I think that was it though. Impressive you have it still!

My monitor just got upgraded from the NZXT 1440p 165hz Canvas 27", paid $140 for this on a lightning sale a few years ago. My new monitor is the AOC OLED 240hz 1440p, another lightning sale deal for $399 this time:
