The more I research into motherboards the more confusing it gets, can someone just tell me a very good motherboard for this build? I would prefer not to have RGB (if it means the board is more expensive) or PCie gen 4 (still not really sure what it means... All I know is that it's not usually used and makes a board more expensive). I just want a motherboard that has all the essential features and is of high build quality so that it does not malfunction and break all my components. I also want it to have good thermals.

You're going to want PCIe 4.0, it makes no sense not having on a new build. Besides, the graphics card you picked, supports PCIe 4.0.
What is wrong with the board you linked to?
Only really crappy boards don't have RGB today, I'm sorry to say.
