Cool, you wouldn't have a link, would you? That would really help.
If trainers interest you, bookmark (do people still do that?)

Trainers City
All of these have been around for years and since they have a large audience the software downloads are reasonably safe versus something hosted on some random file sharing site.
Gamepressure is a good all-around site to look for trainers, sometimes 100% save games, etc. Just find a game and look under the Files section.
These days I usually start by firing up the
WeMod launcher and searching for the game title there. It's easier than looking for a standalone trainer. Also sometimes game updates will break trainer compatibility. With WeMod you are getting the latest version of the trainer and there's an active developer community behind the scenes. There usually isn't Day One trainer availability but if it's a popular title like Stray usually they will show up without too much time passing.
Most of these trainers have individual abilities that can be toggled on and off so if you just need God Mode/Invincibility for a short segment, you are free to turn it off after you've gotten past that part.
A lot of the gaming websites have tutorials, walkthroughs, etc. The written ones (from reputable sites) with screenshots are often quicker to use than watching some YouTube clip posted from some random Internet person or reading a wall of text with no punctuation on Reddit.
You're not required to cheat for the entire game. If you just trying to escape the orphanage in Resident Evil 2 Remake or need one safe combination, you can search for that using your favorite Internet search engine. Trainer software changes abilities and player attributes but won't help you solve puzzles.
