I want to upgrade my rig, I'll have a bit of extra money and I would like to do as much as possible to it. I'm willing to replace the motherboard and was thinking of doing liquid cooling or something cool.

Here is what it looks like now:

SPEAKER 600WATT PMPO W/ SUBWOOFER (Would like to upgrade the sound)
    OEM AMD X2 5400 AM2 CPU
    320GB SATA II 3GB 16MB 7200RPM HD
    1G DDR2 PC6400 MEMORY
    STANDARD CASE FAN
    AMD BRAND AM2 CPU FAN
    BLACK SAMSUNG 20X DVDRW
    12-IN-ONE INTERNAL CARD READER
    X-TELSTAR JR G TYPE /BLACK /WINDOW
Asus M2A-VM AMD 690G Chipset MB
    ONBOARD 7.1 SOUND
    SPARKLE NVIDIA 9800GT 512MB PCI-E
    GIGABYTE 802.11G 54MBP WIRELESS PCI

WINDOW VISTA HOME BASIC SP1 LICENSE

I most def want a better case.

Any opinions would be appreciated. Maybe a new card, better case, what I'll talk any and all opinions

$400 dollars could get you a whole new build if you want to keep it ram and cpu. antec 900 case.

get a new mobo hopefully supports that am2 still so you don't have to upgrade later with that ram and gpu.

    $400. Done and done.

    Mobo: ASRock M3A780GXH

    Ram: G.Skills DDR3 1600 Mhz

    Processor: AMD Phenom II 720

    Price so Far: $273.98 + S&H

    Case: NZXT Guardian 921

Please note I picked that case just to be different. There are like 40+ great cases on the market between $60 to $200 bucks. I can promise someone will recommend the CoolerMaster 690. It is a great case and kinda the standard by which all other cases are measured. find a case you like. You have ~$100 to spend on the case. I have a list of my favorite cases brands below. Most everything they make is great.

    NZXT
    CoolerMaster
    Antec
    Ultra (Tiger Direct Only)

P.S. If you decided to keep the board, get 4 GB of DDR2 RAM at 1066 Mhz ~$60 and use the money difference for the Mobo to upgrade your GPU.
