I prefere ATi, but I think the performance is supposed to be better from the 6600 than the 9800 for a similar price.

If you can only choose between those 2 cards then go for the 6600GT as you wont be sorry but of course if you can afford the extra 40-50 bucks then definetly go with the 6800LE or even the 6800NU.
