Lozza, check the forums at Creative, there is tons of people who have problems with X-FI. Especially with NF4 mobos

This was news in November. Since then there was bios fix on both ends. It's in creative forums, too. No X-Fi now has any issues with nForce4.

I was thinking of these DDL cards myself, too, but they do not process EAX HD and OpenAL, which can be big thing when Vista comes out with no DX hardware accelaration. Also DDL is lossy algorithm that may introduce delays. So I ended up with X-Fi :rockout: .
No regrets sofar. CMSS-3D Headphones is a very good feature for gaming, too.

thanks for the info. As you get older time seems to fly by. What seems like yesterday was last October. i didnt want the Audigy2 Plat cause I read some people wernt happy with Creatives drivers. But some great guy traded it to me for a motherboard I had lying around and I must say it plays music Beautifully(even with my Win64)

I guess the moral is dont listen to one persons opinion, rather listen to them all and make a informed desision.

PS thank you Specsaver for the updated info.
