what to choose, xfx or gigabyte 9600gt??

i have two cards to choose from:

xfx's geforce 9600gt 512mb or
gigabyte's geforce 9600gt 512mb

which one to choose? what's the difference?

I would take the XFX 9600GT Standard only difference is the Gigabyte comes with 2x DVI to VGA Adapters but no S-Video Cable, XFX comes with 1 DVI to VGA Adapter and a S-Video Cable, Warranty is much better.

well, if nothing else matters then yea.. by the way it's also less stressing for me to buy the xfx's card from the retail store rather than the shop's e-shop where im going to shop.

for Standard Versions it just comes down to the Cables in the bundle, your probably more likely to use the S-Video cable over Dual DVI to VGA Adapters (Dual Monitors) anyways. XFX has Great RMA and even better Warranty your able to change out the heatsink on the card and not void the Warranty and if you decide to sell the 9600GT to a friend the Warranty can be transfered into the new buyers name which increases the resell value hence the "Double Lifetime Warranty".

XFX actually hasn't designed a new 9600GT no aluminum plate, no black pcb, no new cooler.

i recommend you: N9600GT-T2D512-OC (overclock edition..... NICE WEAPON!!!!)
more power? got the money?: N9600GT-T2D1G-OC (oh my..... 1GB... OC....)
or the standard: N9600GT-T2D512 (more chaper)

i always look on MSI because they do an excellent work on graphic cards
and performance is unmatchable.

I have had XFX cards die on me because of overclocking and they have an extremely good warranty and the turn around time is about 3 weeks from when you ship it to when you recieve it back if the cards back

its a very good brand

If you're using newegg, I just did a quick look. With rebates most are in the ~150 dollar range, so I'd suggest evga. Of course I'm a little bit biased, but they do have that 90-day step up program if that means anything to you. They also overclock very well.

Of course if it's a choice between only Gigabyte and XFX, go with the XFX.

What brand is the 600w?? And the Athlon 64 X2 5400+ You only need a quality 450w-500w for that system 600w would be overkill and also get a AMD 770 motherboard chipset

Also just noticed the 5200+ is a 2mb thats a Windsor 90nm.. those dont clock as well as brisbanes.

Oh your buying from a prebuilt store.. thats not reccomended cause they are gonna rip you off. Just build it your self man it will be alot cheaper and when you build it your self you dont get bloatware just give me a budget and ill give you the links for a good one you can build your self.

Yea just look up guides with pictures or something for a guide on building one. Its REALLY easy. I just built mine a few months back and it was really easy. Im only 15 too. I will send you the parts in a PM and stuff and ill try and find the best guide too.
