i have a multitude of pads on my disposal

artisan Shinden VE medium at my office,
Razer Mantis Speed at my house
SteelSeries QCk+ medium anywhere else

and i still have the Razer ExactMat as a bedroom laptop base

I have a custom made Satin blasted piece of 280 x 200 tempered glass from a glazing company. It actually costs about the same amount to have it custom made as your typical overpriced soft mat costs, so there really is no reason not to get one made instead of buying something horribly expensive from Razer et al. Unless your mouse doesn't work on glass, in which case soft is probably best.

:mad:pads with gel wrist support are good.but when I use them,I run out of the mouse pad surface...never got used to it..i end up with the mouse on the table

Of there were a lot of girls on TPU, I think we would see a lot more votes for the I favor - hard option.

Dude, that's just painful...for the mouse :D. From my very first one with a ball, I've always had something to run on to. Rarely had it with no pad or a sheet of paper- A4.

Haven't used a mouse pad in years. Ever since my brother got his laptop, and we stopped sharing computer. Suddenly there were 2 mice but only 1 pad, and my brother needed it more than I did. Never got around to get a new one.

Custom cut glass pad....wow..just wow. I doubt I can get a firm here to cut me one, but I can snatch SteelSeries I-2 for 15 euro off he shelf, so I can't really complain.

I was w8ing for it :D. When writing the poll, I was like...this sounds so wrong...how can I make it less incentive...

No wonder "Watchful moderator", you have two keyboards....simultaneously :lovetpu: double the typing capacity.:respect:

I use a pretty small one, thick rubberstuff with cloth on it.

It's almost 20 years old at this point.

Using now the present version of Razer Goliathus Precission pad. Great feeling. Older version was badly finished (no borders finishing, quickly looks old, using that one now for coffee cups, meal, etc).

If the new version only didn't have the horrible giant tribal Razer logo...

soft with a gel pad. will post a pic later.

2nd one- back up. Compulsive buy during a sale. Might sell it off.

snip...

... but I haven't found a single gaming accessory branded for carrying soft pads, like the one's I like and use. I know you can cut a tube out of a LOT of things like: cardboard, a plastic leftover from a paper roll or building materials, etc. But I haven't found in ebay a single product with carrying handles and "optimised" for lan parties.

The logitech g240 comes with a hexagonal hard cardboard case.

Unfortunately, the plastic end bits come out so easy that it makes it impossible to not have them come off if your transporting the mat.

Here is an unboxing showing the box.

And I have to lol at when he snips off the tabs, and immediately the end cap comes straight off as he flips the box over...

That's more than my Corsair Mouse pad at $16. I want it though

i have a Steelseries Qck for each of the rigs in my specs, 1 being the Diablo 3 Barbarian artwork one.

I used to run my mouse on my desk surface but found my feet wore down. Less of a problem with the MM600. Do you guys use custom feet on your mice? I am using Tiger Gaming feet that I bought from eBay on my M$ Optical Mouse.

you cant.
all lisings in reality are out of stock despite they are listed in stock on sites.
i have checked few stores when rcoon was about to buy i-2. then i gave him the idea for custom cutted glass. it ended that local for him company can make exactly the same acid surface matting, like on i-2, for reasonable price.
just cant remember what was exact name of the prosses (may be @RCoon can hlep with this). look for company that can make that acid matting.

Yeah! The Steelseries matt was more expensive than the one I ordered custom made. Satin blasted tempered glass is pretty much what the I-2 is.

Nothing special at all. But I do love my gel wrist wrest it's a must have for me.

I quite agree.micropage7

I use whatever is on sale at the dollar store. Had a kitten one for like 3 years until I saw one that had "MERICA on it. Picked that baby up for 75 cents!

No pad, haven't use one for ages. Stopped using one when I realized it served me no purpose.

I don't use anything special. Just a large steelseries. The only thing that I care about is that they're not too thick.

@TheMailMan78 Nice. I bet from the rear that guy looks like a giant Q-Tip. :)
