as we are coming to the end of 2011 i would like to no what was the best game you have played this year.

For me this year skyrim was the best game iv played this year.

Skyrim has undoubtedly been the best game.

I don't really have a worst (I assume by "wheart's" you mean worst) game, but I am not happy that BF3 has been excluded from Steam.

Best, tough call but I need to say Rage, I would have said Batman:AC but Rage is the only game I have ever completed and started straight away again.

Worst, by far and away Uncharted 3, I have platinumed (*) both other Uncharted games, 3 was a bore, Goldeneye Reloaded wasn't up to much either, could have been rose tinted glasses for the original that made me feel that way though.

All kinect games my kids made me play.

Although technically it didn't come out in 2011, I'd say the best is Minecraft. I spent months on that game.

The worst...unfortunately, I think I have to go with Stronghold 3. I played it for probably an hour or two and got bored. I'd rather play Stronghold 2 or Crusader.

At the risk of being flamed to death, BF3, not as the worst, but as the largest disappointment to me. It's a good game, but it doesn't feel like Battlefield to me, and not saying it feels like COD either, I just hate the map design, especially the maps that are all hallways, but even the large maps just seem to be lacking.

Best: (based on how many hours I put into it and how much I enjoyed them)
Saints Row 3 (Its ridiculous but right up my alley, also the city is so alive its unreal)
Dungeon Defenders (A tower defense RPG kind of gerne, online ccop with a friend = tons of fun)
Dead Island (GPS was unearthly bad, some bugs, but I enjoyed it very much, but only played coop with a friend)
Tropico 4 (Yeah its not much of a step up from Tropcio 3 (in some cases a step backwards) but I love Tropico and enjoyed that, too)
Forza 4 (Best. Racing. Game. Ever. Except for NFS3 HP but I'm biased towards that game)
Mortal Kombat 9 (Holy shit its awesome)
Portal 2 (Enjoyed every second of it, in single player and in coop)

Worst: (based on expectations not met and how quickly it degraded to a dust collector)
Duke Nukem Forever (I don't hate it, but it was so mediocre)
Dirt 3 (Don't get me wrong I love rallye, and snow tracks were high on my wish list, but Gymkhana turned out way different than I expected, and no Hillclimb again, seriously wtf. Dirt 1 is still the best)
Dead Space 2 (I get that the controls and viewing angle add to the atmosphere but it annoyed the hell out of me)
