the big thermalright, the fan goes on sideways, not like the way you're holding it, its really the length on the tower thats the problem, it would squeez in vertically between both fans, the width of the sink is only 60mm.. the length is 130, so you have the clearance for 60mm, the height is not a problem if you have a mid tower or better, so with the big thermalright, you're thing is the 130mm vertically from the socket, if you have the clearance, then you can use the best air cooler there is, it works without a fan, but a fan is advised... this is the way the fans are ranked: http://www.frostytech.com/top5heatsinks.cfm so grab the 9700 if you cant fit the big thermalright, and if you cant fit the 9700, get the 90m thermalright..

Very good advice. I second this.

The Scythe is better than the Zalman, but the Scythe is a lot heavier, not that it really matters to most people who don't move their computer around constantly.

EDIT: Also the ability to change fans out without modifications is a nice feature that the Zalman heatsinks don't have.

I move my computer alot and i am always doing something to it so i don't want anything that is heavy so my mobo or CPU doesn't get messed up.I am still looking and reading reviews on different HSF before i get one i will tell you guys what it is and tell me if it is good or not or to stay away.

I think i am just going to save up and see if i can get water cooling if i can't get the money for water than i am going to get a 9500 or the Gigabyte 3d rocket pro II
