DS4 works fine. Games that have native support obv work out of the box with PS inputs/UI etc, those that dont require emulation. Steam has built emulation you can enable to get it working as xinput, or outside of steam via DS4Windows. I use DS4 on more or less every non shooter game I play and I've never had an issue getting it to work. (last 2 games i played on pc for example, Ori and will of the wisps on MS Store I used DS4Windows, and FFXV on steam worked out of the box without any steam emulation required as the game supports it natively and with PS UI)
On emulators (such as cemu) you can even get it to work with gyro support for games that can utilize that.
Not sure with the xbone pad arguments tho, he's not asking which should he pick.
But to answer that not asked question, I like it much more than the xbox pad.
Switch Pro is the only one better due to build quality (both ms and sony controlers are subpar in that regard)
