i have a BFG GTX 285 OC+ and i just upgraded almost my whole system and here are the new specs

ASUS M4A79T Deluxe AM3 DDR3 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard
    AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor
    Corsair 4GB DDR3 SDRAM Memory Module - WIN3X40961600C7DHXIN (2x2gb)

and on the asus board there are 4 PCIex slots and i was just wondering what card is best for physics? Ive been looking around and ive seen things like 9800 GT/GTX/GTX+ is about the best but can some one verify that?

The 285 can handle PhysX on it's own just fine. I think the game Batman AA says something about a GTX260 for a dedicated PhysX card if you want to go that route. Btw, your taste in processor and motherboard are superb. :D

I know you are itching to use your other slots and I don't blame you but I too don't think you really need another card for PhysX. So I think the question really is what's the best for what you are willing to spend? I have a GTX 260 and access to an 8800GT from work and ran some Batman benchmarks both using the 8800 for PhysX as well as with just the 260 alone. The 8800 installed gave me only about 7-9 more FPS, though with the minimum being 29 vs 37 that's pretty significant in terms of playability. A better card would give a better boost, of course.
