Here's a table of settings so you know what to expect: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...beRiOTMsGeIkCDQUhXSBA/htmlview#gid=1964178281

And here is a good youtube video of a guy showing you the basic process:

You don't so much want to overclock the GPU but to undervolt it. If you undervolt too much you lose performance, if you can get it just right, your card will run cooler and perform more consistently with better minimum frame rates. You definitely want to overclock your memory by as much as you can as that is where you see the greatest performance benefit. Just keep increasing the memory frequency until the system is no longer stable and then drop it back a bit. On my Vega64 I can run the memory at 1100Mhz but it isn't stable in all games unless I run at 1080Mhz.

I'd suggest running power limit at +50% and drop the manual voltage by 4-5% to start off with.

hmmm sounds complicated, okey will do it carefully, thx for the tips:)
i try raise the power limit to 50+ through msi afb, not even set other setup yet but it cause strange error, the mem clock stuck on 167mhz somehow, it refuse to run normally even i reset the configuration, the one way to fix it by restart my pc, whats this kind of problem about? im abit curious, any idea?

update: i investigate this issue may cause by incompatible drivers, now i know why this card rarely aviable at store, it seems amd rly dont much care abt vega series alr, should i just downgrade the driver? or is there any other solution? :kookoo:

I would personally recommend using AMD memory tweak for UV/OC. don't like watt-man much.
Also when I started with this card it was recommended not to use MSI AB so I didn't and I'm happy with mem tweak.
for OSD I use HWinfo+Rivatuner and it's much better and easier than MSI AB OSD.

I use TDP at 25% cos if I remember correctly it's that a 190-200W is a sweat spot for vega56 on stock cooling.
It's a great card IMO but very hard to cool it with stock.

P7 at 1600 (factory is 1622) at 1170mV.
P6 1669 at 1120mV
P5 1474 at 1040mV.

mem P3 840mhz at 950mV for now.

I'm still tinkering when I get the time which is not much :-(

it's really easy mate.
just find a great guide at Reddit called "PSA Lazy mans guide to tweaking your GPU (RX vega 56 specific)" and read it.
great stuff.
cheers.

okey i will tried it later, this card alr good on stock clock, faster enough to reach 100fps+ mostly on curent 1080p games, just crious back day, no rush abt push the card limit, thx for encourage cheers :toast:
anyway one rly bother me is abt the fan noise, thats too loud hehe, otherwise this is the best midend card for a while:)

regarding the noise, yes, it's very bad while under load but that's something I don't mind for great performance.
in idle it's quite.

yes it have fanstop feature, problems this card pretty hot, i own blower type, have no choice to manual setup 60% speed atleash, iknow something like 80c is normal on refernece model, but i just feel safe using it under 70c, with the booster bios it never reach 50% fanspeed tho, becouse the temp fulload 78c max, i think if its goes above it can auto reach the fan speed, although so far ive seen it reach max 48% speed only, anyway the noise start annoying after reach 50% speed of fan:D

Undervolting AMD cards tend to yield a lot of good results for them. My RX 480 undervolted maxes out on 76c on full load and around 110-120w avg consumption. and that's just 50mv of undervolting. Stock settings the thing would hit 83-85c easy and consumes around 160w or so watts. Frame rates improve a bit as well undervolted too from my experience. EDIT: not a lot of FPS improvement, give or take around 3fps.

Try it out and you might like it. I'd take cooler and lower power consumption over overclocking anyday for AMD cards

hmm so much benifit on undervolt, assume is better than oc terms, worth a try agree, will do it sure:)
