My 6950's sit around 93c on main sensor, over 100c on the bottom two sensors in BF3. Fans don't even spin past 45%.

Temps must be fine, don't see any throttling, either.

My HD 4870 got to 110C (GPU temp). VRM temps are even hotter, 117C. That was at default frequencies.

I had three GTX460 (now RMAed) that would consistently reach 100° under load, but there was an issue with the cooling that caused them to reach those temperatures.

The two I have now never go above 85°.

My former GTX275 hit once 100C. Dust. Custom fan profile on the 570, max I've seen is 62C with fan at 65%.

I've had around 100c on a HD4870X2 with VRMs at around 105c. A custom cooler was installed within 24 hours.

I've never seen more than 82*C with a custom fan profile on my reference 6870 at 1.30v.

It's not a video card, but I've seen an Athlon 64 3700+ hit 97*C. Dog hair and dust, dropped to 36*C after we cleaned it out. >_>

Had about 113° (under gaming load) on my 4870x2 before I cleaned it and re-gooped it.
(That was at fans 100%. lol)
That's about when it started to complain (image corruption, crashing, etc.)

When the fan on my GTX465 died while it was folding it hit 111°C before the entire machine locked up. I only knew it got that hot because the LCD on my G15 was frozen with the temp readings displayed.

bought accelero s1 with turbo module and cool down to 60ºC
after that it was crunching f@h gpu client for 4 months 24/7 then it died.

106C on one of my 9800GX2's cores, 87C on HD 5870, 56C on 8600GT, and hell knows how much was on my X1600 PRO that it fried instantly.

I had a 9800gx2 folding 24/7 for a year and a half. The hottest core was running at 104c and the other one at 103c when temp outside went over 30c. It went through two summers and survived... :eek:

My single slot X1900XTX from being used so long and never cleaned.... got a layer of dust a 1/2 think between the Fan and the Heatsink. Causing temps to reach 130C. Shortly after I cleaned it the temps went back down to around 76c. The bad news is... I must have been running it that way for awhile.... because a week later it just died.
