What's the one game you keep coming back to time after time?

For me it's Rainbow Six Siege on my PS4 Pro.

I'm a PC gamer, of course, but being able to play online with my friends is everything and goes well beyond platform and game. Nothing compares with it.

This mostly online-only game is pretty addictive, but I still hardly play it if my friends aren't online. We have a WhatsApp group and message each other almost every day to play this and have been doing so for well over a year now.

Previously it used to be Unreal Tournament and then Unreal Tournament 2004 that I kept coming back to.

I'm replaying FF7, Skyrim and Fallout 4 for the nth time. With mods of course!

Other than that I'll play Red Alert 2, UT99/2k4 or Unreal Gold. Also with mods.

There's nothing better than squishing AI bots even after they have been modded to be more difficult.

It's a rare occurrence for me to go back to play Resident Evil 4 and 5. But I still do it once a year.

I used to play modded Guitar Hero 3 with custom songs all the time, but I had to stop for health reasons.

COD1/2/4, L4D 2, F.E.A.R, Resident Evil 4, All super Mario Bros on NES, N64 Mario kart, Double dragon...

I would say those are my most of all time played games that I never get bored of and constantly revisit

Maybe base Tropico 4 as well.

Honestly. None. The oldest game i play of BF4. But since PUBG came out, i only played BF4 when pubg was patching.

I dont really have a ton of time to play (and be semi decent at) games so i stick with one or two. Most of what ive played over the past 15 years have been online only and nothing or not much to go back to.

arma 2CO. GTA5 . Metro (ANY) . but not just one, its like a wizzards ritual , or something, the 2nd blue moon of the month, has to fall on the last friday, and then i have to be in the mood, so for me it cant be just one game, but rather one of a few....of which i pick what im in the mood for.

GTA, especially San Andreas. In fact I've already started my 12th playthrough. Most of the game during that time (early 2000s) are fun to play. Red Alert 2, Command and Conquer 3 also annual playthrough.

On my phone I play PSX emulator, Gran Turismo 2 and Harvest Moon: Back To Nature to kill time. These game got no lootboxes, no excessive grinding. Just pure fun.

SupCom2 with my sons, as that's the game I used to introduce them to RTS. We have so many hours of playing together...it's always fun to pop in for quick round or two.

Ashes of the Singularity for a more modern RTS that I enjoy AI skirmishes in...the AI is pretty damn good and the game keeps getting better!

CoD4 and BF:BC2 were my last go-to FPS's. I popped into some CoD4 not long ago, was fun for a couple rounds! Tough to find a vanilla server though.

Several that's i always go back to:

Skyrim - never gets boring for me, especially now that we have excellent mods doing Cyrodil in exquisite detail with quests!

Rome 2: Total War

Rome Total War (disk based and modded, W8.1 rig)

Dying Light (on GOG) - honestly just one of the most fun games ever for me, never gets old.

Really this is the beauty of SP games. You can really play forever (especially if they have good replay value), and you never need to remember what a game was like before the servers were brought down.

Deus Ex, usually once a year play through.
GTA San Andreas, always installed, I fire it up on occasion, missions, or just driving.
And finally, Crimsonland, always looking for the high score.
