so okey i got this for $378
and this is what i got

thats it, i mean seriously dude?! whats wrong wuth this brand, it looks like a cheap oem card package,
no cd drive/cable/warrantycard/ even a gotdamn cheap port rubber protector????! i got nothing to say rly, kudos for this brand, almost like a potatoes in disguise as kingburger... :banghead:

@potato580+ you forgetting one this, COLORFUL is Chinese and PowerColor is Taiwanese and 2 very different companies.

Colorful also makes Nvidia GPUs, motherboards, ram, ssd and so on where PowerColor (TUL) are more known to make AMD graphics cards but also make some other things.

In the end its about the performance though. If it has no damage on the contacts for pcie and it performs as it should I wouldn't worry a lot.

Is it crappy packaging and unboxing like that, yes for damn sure. Wow.

I have all colorful cards (3x 1060 and 1x 1080Ti) They are like that because they are the cheapest out there.

Decent enough hardware, but they cut costs on marketing and sell based on value.
The 1080Ti actually came packaged pretty well, but the 1060's were literally bubble-wrap in a box.

i expecting less for $300 stuff okey whatever, fyi cheap like inno low profile gt1030/powercolor oem still include atleash a cd drive & port rubber, well couldnt be helped, i will check the main card along, forget abt weird box package

Dont furmark.. it is a POWER VIRUS. It will not test cards at their running clockspeed. Use something else like loop 3dmark time spy or something.

Nothing wrong. Looks just about as good as Inno3D or Palit stuff. Functionally - much better, since that cooling is a variation on TwinFrozr and even comes with a backplate.
What's interesting, is that they went the old MSI route and install this cool solution even on GTX1660, which is absolutely awesome.

There was something about it in the news awhile ago. Some vendors getting rid of driver CDs, and some pushing for drivers on flash drives.

why even do you care about the packaging?
I own colorful gtx 1060 myself, I give zero f*ck on how the cards packaging looks like,
when you purchase a GPU, you want that fps out of the card, not the looks of packaging :kookoo:

if the packaging really bother you, you can look up on ebay where people sells ASUS ROG box and you can put the your gpu in there, and "re-unboxing".

JayZ2cents or LTT made a video where they ordered a cheap card off gearbest or aliexpress. I cant remember what the card was but it was a mid to high range card. It was cheap to the point where it seemed almost too good to be true but they got what they paid for because the card turned out to be a CHINA ONLY oem card. It looked cheap but the card worked as described and it wasn't a complete scam.

You still need to be very careful when buying stuff off them websites though.

it happend alot if we buy cheap stuff from china, but yes isnt complete scam, we got the real performance as described, also i think colorfuligame has been around for decade, its a known well brand, just wobder why the package so minimalist, i can go for inno 3d for cheaper deal tho, but i give this brand a chance and pay for the card, and suprised this is what all i got, howevr the main card is more important, well is good despute the package looks like

i own gtx 260 igame secondhand, no box altho, it perform good, this is also a reason i do pick the same brand

Its a card for the OEM market. They don't need fancy boxes

hmm i never notice soemthing strange like this using other gpu, in 1st attempt my cpu is 100% 4cores, and gpu usage only 40-50%?

so i decide to reset my ocing ryzen 2200g to stock clock, and for some reason now my cpu goes 90% usage than gpu(60-80%) on 1080p

while i test in 4k the gpu&cpu usage is the oposite, cpu usage 40-50%, gpu 99-100%, call for a rtx user, any explain or tips?
