That makes two of us lol

Don't have anything that deserves waterblocking in there. 4070 Ti is realistically a 225W part at most and 5800X3D gains zero.

I have the S3 because it has always been my favourite case of all time. Built and took apart a number of loops last year enough to be sick and tired of water for the next 10 years

Do you have the top rad insert? I forgot to order that back in 2014 :(

Probably because of that too, mine is 240mm only. I don't do 240mm rads. It has a 280mm flexbay in the front, but I'm not keen on cooking my Bdie like last time with rad exhaust

You can get some parts after the soft launch. Survey for parts goes out soon so make sure you're on the email list. I already know I need to pick up a 280mm drop-in top, a windowed top and a full windowed panel.

plus it is always good to have a spare for testing purposes or if your 4090 needs a warranty repair, etc.

I really think you should upgrade your audio experience though, that is the weakest part of your setup. @VSG could recommend you something based on whatever budget range you are willing to spend in that category. I'd say the HifiMAN Edition XS at $499 and this for your headphone amp - not sure on the amp though.

Damn, that costs as much as my old prebuilt!

Audio is definitely important though...

What is your audio setup?
Actual garbage, $35 buck worth of Oneodio wireless headphones (A70) and an ALC1220 from an X670E Steel Legend.

Good enough for now but I'm going to upgrade them after I get my new Internet, chair, and mouse.

(Mouse has double-clicking and the chair is falling apart.)

For double-clicking hold the mouse upside down and just mash the affected button repeatedly. It might help.

I'll for sure try that out. I smash it sometimes. It's a G903 Lightspeed from around 4 years ago so it was worth it. I could open it but I'm not messing around with a Lit-Ion battery. Especially when my dexterity is -1.

Don't even get me started on Logitechs double clicking. I already swapped the left button on my G502 Hero, and shall swap the right one soon.

Personally I'm looking for something around $300 in total. Not very educated in the audio field.

Might be best to try out a few things in person if you can and see. At that budget you get the most value with IEMs and not headphones or speakers but those aren't for everyone (comfort).

I mean, I have my G502 for some 4 years already, but double-clicks (or clicks failing to register at all) do frustrate me a lot.
Just like I did to my keyboard (went from a Logi G810 Orion to a Razer Huntsman Elite due to heavy key chattering), I'll see if I swap the mouse to one with optical keys in the foreseeable future.

A Cyberpower CL1000EVR automatic voltage regulator, because there is an ironing board on the other side of the wall from my PC, and having that on causes artifacts and intermittent black screens (which goes back on after a while).

Let's just say, the next one on my list is a new motherboard, because my blackscreen crash & restart issues (peep my profile) seems to be motherboard related now, especially on the sole GPU slot, I pretty much ruled out CPU, GPU and even PSU. (That's a lot of U's)
First true test of the AVR's capabilities, someone ironed clothes on the other side of the wall, nothing obvious happened to my computer, no artifacts or blackscreens. I'm cautiously optimistic in saying, the AVR is doing its job right.

Also in some laptops having 2 ranks on memory sticks give more performance. But not as much as dual channel gives.
very true for gaming on them, but agreed on less impact overall

All my mice have had this sooner or later, at one point i even soldered in a replacement switch on my G903 before realising i hated the shape after using a G Pro

Benchmark Scores bench...mark? i do leave mark on bench sometime, to remember which one is the most comfortable. :o
yep, worthy upgrade (side by side before shipping the "old" one for the cashback), added app "shop", barometer, new BioTracker 3.0 PPG sensor SpO2 measurement (in line with my finger SpO2 measurement ) gorgeous screen (reactive feel like a high refresh rate AMOLED , 454x454 versus 360x360 res and slightly bigger screen, 0.09" more tho  ) armband even better (less stretchy but more comfy and 2 band "retainer" ) pairing was a breeze via ZEPP App and firmware update out of the box
IMG20230215093749.jpgIMG20230215094058.jpg
IMG_20230215_094252.jpg
interesting the BioTracker 3.0 has 1 green led in the center and 6 photodiodes in the ring around it, opposed to 1 photodiode in the center and 2 green led around it for the 2.0 ... i guess that's why the new revision give more accurate hBPM and can give SpO2 reading (also the upgraded analysis algorithme) i compared at work with first aid tool we use (standard finger SpO2 reader from Beurer and an Omron Tensiometre )

little extra for 5chf ... never heard of it ... but 5 a limited edition (even if it's in German for the packaging and content) i don't really care ... although seems 70's hippy psy-horror themed ... can't be bad
IMG20230215093629.jpg

well OST and DLC codes include, Paul Ruskay? composer for the OST? eh... not bad... i will check some video about the game, or not ... and dive in blind, might be fun

Bought a 4 TB WD Red to replace my aging and annoyingly loud 3TB Toshiba P300 and and even older 1 TB WD Blue.
From now on this will be the only HDD in my PC and hopefully it wont be as loud. 'It was driving me crazy ever since I've rebuilt my system in a silent Be Quiet! case'

Also grabbed a 1 TB sata Silicon Power A55 SSD as a secondary game drive cause my 1 TB NVMe is running low lately and there are games that I never delete/uninstall from my PC.
This was the cheapest 1 TB somewhat decent SSD I could find but for an exclusive gaming drive its fine anyway.

Now I'm off for the 'fun' part of sorting out what I need and to copy it to my new HDD. 'copy stuff between HDDs ugh.. gonna take most of my free time today'
