That is why I never went into WDS, tried a couple times out of curiosity, but have so much wireless IT stuff here.
That's why i went mesh, i regret the *brand* i chose, but not the mesh as a whole. Got a friend onto a budget tenda setup and he's got the dream experience of AC1200 mesh with eth out at every repeater, and a good 60MB/s throughput off a 30Mb/s internet connection
(Yes, Bytes vs bits there)

Arch Linux.
Oh no, THATS why the arch linux people have been insufferable lately

I'll have to try it one day, but that day can be in the far future

Battletech i know and i know i will enjoy it ...
Ghostrunner, not sure but the style suits me, MGR : Revengeance well, i did hold too long ... so, fitting : "Jack is back!" (i love over the top action games ...)
Troubleshooter : Abandoned Children, hum ... it was 50% discounted and it's a turn based SRPG, yep should be fine  (and a Korean SRPG at that ... no wonder the graphism and character design made me think of Eternal Return )

I have been really enjoying getting cozy in bed and playing the steam deck, I am honestly gaming now more than any other time in my life, mainly because my comfort level has increased.

I work at a desk.
I study at a desk.
I read at a desk (If I read in bed I fall asleep lol)

so basically I am tired of sitting at a fucking desk.

steam deck solved a problem I didn't realize I had until it was in my hands.

Mine just sits in drawer... Sometimes I see it when I'm looking for something and it reminds me I have one.... lol.

I hate handheld gaming personally but glad the steamdeck/switch is there for people who like it.

The trick to use the Switch handheld is a good case. I personally recommend Skull & Co's.

I can't imagine what it would have been like being the first Australians getting dumped off on the island by a British cargo ship, all the deadly critters and such. It must have been a bit horrifying.

A never ending battle between humans and the crawlers! Let the battle begin! haha

Don't knock the rubber chickens. Back in the last century, I once managed to down a mid-air wasp with a rubber band in that exact way.

It will mostly be used when I'm working with my various computers.
But if needed I can easily set it up as a secondary screen at my main computer.

welp, nope ... albeit the shop saying the approvisionment was unsuccessful, i still got them today :D

i got a nice deal on a Edifier Stax Spirit S3 for 259chf/$

checked for reviews ... and surprise surprise first review i saw was here  more pros than cons and cons that are trivial to me (tbf ANC is an aberration, due to the headache that it induce, to me ... i prefer Passive NC ;) ) https://www.techpowerup.com/review/edifier-stax-spirit-s3-planar-magnetic-wireless-headphones/

and it carry from Audeze while not being as prestigious as a LCD-2, they are cheaper, and the direct ancestor for it, in price and design, the LCD-1... is discontinued

it quite surprise me ... all STAX "earspeakers" are electrostat, that one is Planar magnetic, so, why the S3 is Edifier STAX Spirit instead of Edifier x Audeze  (although there is an EQ preset in the app, named STAX, so i guess it carries STAX Spirit indeed :D )

(which made me mirror @VSG conclusion  "There's a lot to like here, although the name is not necessarily one. Indeed, there isn't much STAX about this aside from Edifier owning the company and deciding to make STAX SPIRIT a new product line. Instead, this shares more in common with Audeze" i just saw that now ... going not TL : DR on the conclusion and only reading pros/cons )

the App is practical and out of the 3 modes STAX strangely is the one that fit my music genre the most, and it's like a second revolution ... first was when i discovered Balanced Armatures, some detail popped like i had never heard them, second well DAMN i never thought it could be so detailed ... i just love it!

they scream high end (i wonder if creaking was limited to review models o_O they do not creak at all ) i love the carbon fiber insert the carry case and all the accessories and out of all my High Res certified BT headset (from TWS to not too bad cans in the form of a Pioneer SE-MS7BT(S) which had a Frequency Response: 9 Hz - 22,000 Hz (Bluetooth connection), 9 Hz - 40,000 Hz (wired connection) ) it is certainly the most perfect

i use them with the fabric earpads rather than the leather one ... comfortable , actually the most comfortable cans i ever had (leather one are not bad and have a nice seal but fabric are just too perfect)

welp, nope ... albeit the shop saying the approvisionment was unsuccessful, i still got them today :D

i got a nice deal on a Edifier Stax Spirit S3 for 259chf/$

checked for reviews ... and surprise surprise first review i saw was here  more pros than cons and cons that are trivial to me (tbf ANC is an aberration, due to the headache that it induce, to me ... i prefer Passive NC ;) ) https://www.techpowerup.com/review/edifier-stax-spirit-s3-planar-magnetic-wireless-headphones/

and it carry from Audeze while not being as prestigious as a LCD-2, they are cheaper, and the direct ancestor for it, in price and design, the LCD-1... is discontinued

it quite surprise me ... all STAX "earspeakers" are electrostat, why the Spirit S3 is Edifier STAX instead of Edifier x Audeze  (although there is an EQ preset in the app, named STAX )

(which made me mirror your conclusion  "There's a lot to like here, although the name is not necessarily one.

Planar (sourced from Audeze) i doubt a e-stat could run BT, STAX original product usually need a unit driver that output 580V DC

hence my "why the Spirit S3 is Edifier STAX instead of Edifier x Audeze" and VSG conclusion ;)

Does a garbage disposal unit count as tech?

It is insane that some do not have stainless steel internals.

when it looks like a rocket thrust/propulsion system it definitely counts as tech

My friends in the UK/Europe find it really shocking so many of us Americans use garbage disposals like this. I know my gf/fiance in the UK composts all of her bio waste, so if I ate a banana, sometimes I would almost throw it away and she would be like wtf! haha jk but yeah I learned to compost, I got used it after about three weeks.

it's honestly quite funny how easy the brain adapts to new methods of doing things.
