The chipset fan in my old motherboard was bugging me, so I got a different one.
View attachment 296620View attachment 296621
Went for an ASRock B550 Taichi. I got it because it lacks a chipset fan (obviously), has eight SATA ports (like my last board), and has three accessible PCIe slots after my GPU is installed.
View attachment 296623View attachment 296624
If I have any complaints so far, my main one is that the PCIe slot locks are horrible, worse than my previous board. It is extremely difficult to remove my GPU. I'm almost tempted to try and find a non-destructive way to remove them and see if they're even necessary.

I mean, if I wanted to upgrade my boot SSD (maybe to a 2TB WD SN850X or Corsair MP600 Pro LPX), my GPU has to come out. Same with plugging in more SATA devices, which I have plans to do eventually.you really moving your gpu that much that you would destroy a part of your mobo? why you moving your gpu so much? lol

I wish I was able to have the same trade. Intel cards are annoyingly expensive here. It's like I can get more than two used AMD cards for the same price and they both are more powerful than the Intel's device. But it was very cheap. (105 usd, open box)
