One of the jacks of my older Creative Labs speakers got intermittent and the vol. ctl had lots of static so got a new set. These are T40 series II Gigaworks, decent enough lower-mid range. Edit: yes I need to manage those wires a bit... just set it up a little while ago.

Yeah, thats what I have in my editing rig. Great cpu and a great price. I dont typically run the latest gen, so this is perfect.

That's a really great deal on both the 12700k and the board. I tried to convince myself to upgrade my 12700k to a 14700k but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't make it make sense.

Decided to upgrade my RAM while it's still somewhat cheap...

Got a 2x32GB kit of Teamgroup Vulcan Z DDR4-3600 C18.

I was planning on running it alongside the existing 2x16GB kit I already had as the timings and frequency are the same, but that other kit uses Micron memory, while this one uses Hynix. It'd probably be fine, but I also don't really need 96GB of memory.

Modded Minecraft will be a bit happier now.

So I bought a B550 As Rock board that apparently has been released this year. I have one of the new 5.0 MP700 drives. I also had a 2TB as my OS that I used for something else. You see about 6 months ago I bought one of those Grey market drives from Amazon that has several Console Games on a Linux OS. Well I have a 5600G sitting around and wanted a board that supported HDMI 2.1. There are not even reviews for this board but it will be my next Console machine. I also got one of these to put everything in. So for $200 (with tax) I will be finishing Flashback on the 3DO next week.
