To me though the following seems like the better deal;
Only 50quid more for a better version of the CPU/GPU combo, twice the RAM at 16GB and faster RAM as well.

these are great for the price. I've got a couple of spare monitors in storage. Was thinking of putting together a lightweight SFF build to mount on the back. However, I couldn't justify the cost since it would only be used occasionally by the family and that too for super basic tasks (email/print/browsing/etc). For £250-£300 ultra-mini prebuilt... so much better!! Definitely something i'll be considering some time soon.

Very tempting, there's £60 off the 6600H /16Gb version making it £235 free p+p which is pretty darn good

Never seen a card that stand upright on the mobo instead of mounting towards rear case slots. 1x slot underneath GPU would get immense air flow around it.
It doesn't come with a slot bracket, either. :roll:

I guess, it's intended for debugging or testing purposes. It also has small LEDs next to the top screw hole, one for power and one for SSD access. Just plug it in any PCIe slot and boot from it, although I don't know, yet, if it supports hot-plugging. Seems perfect for benching, if you don't want to deal with SATA cables and drives.

The Patriot P300 also has a small LED for access, which is located next to the sticker with the serial, between the "8" and "0".

...a 160GB iPod Classic 6th Gen. Came with its box, headphones, and power adapter, but no cable. It's in very good condition with a handful of scratches on the back.

It had a corrupted database, so it didn't recognize its internal drive. Plugged it into a PC and it had the previous owner's pictures and stuff on it.

Went ahead and restored it and threw some music onto it with iTunes, and it seems to work fine now.

Nice!!

Damn, that pic gave me an idea, I may spend 6 not-so-important 775 CPUs and use some superglue...
Do it! It'll make an interesting talking piece for when you have guests over!

What wasnt my latest tech purchase :(

Should I sacrifice Celerons as my P45 board doesn't support those.... because it doesn't support 533FSB CPUs.. at least I can use one dead Q6600 and one 771 Xeon without worries :toast:

Well, it is a model of a tech item. I guess that counts when I can't afford the real thing?

1:32 Tornado IDS with 5 detail sets and one book.

The major challenge will be to get ahold of the correct grey paint for the upper part of the fuselage in the Marineflieger outfit (West German Navy fliers). The product recommended by the kit is unobtanium.

Do you mean you replaced the batteries in it with better batteries? It still uses solar to charge them is all? I really like those things, my Mom has then all over our driveway/yard.
