Benchmark Scores bench...mark? i do leave mark on bench sometime, to remember which one is the most comfortable. :o
bike, yeah end nov is kinda the season for me ... carbon addiction ... fake or real, i like it

replacing the handlebar and stem, checked the customer reviews and pictures and if they are real, that's going to be an awesome set ...
if not, well that would only be a 30chf~ loss  (that's half the price of a similar stem bought locally ... )
and a pair of glove (took em camo) because they remind me the Oakley gloves i had a long time ago :D
1732826629242.png1732826636760.png 1732826661117.png1732826860261.png
probably the oddest carbon thing that ever catched my eye ... i know some bike shoes have carbon reinforcement ... but insole? eh, why not ... it has a good arch support and judging by the reviews and pictures, it's actually quite good

1732826951792.png

now the fake carbon ... my mudguard took a bad hit (specially the back one ) and these would cost me less than a zip tie bag, plus even if fake, they look nice
and a roll of 5cm by 7m "carbon" tape (will probably use it for frame protection )
1732826708269.png1732826783479.png

the Scott Volt turned out to be total crap ... a 180chf total crap, leather cracked, sole wore down in a matter of month ...
next : Shimano SH-ET5 (model 2024, which i prefer over the newer model) on sale (50chf instead of 86.50, although i saw them at other etailers around 120chf+)
1732827006051.png1732827026768.png
they look promising, and marketed for MTB (flats ofc) and trekking (also 2yrs of warranty  )

for the DS, i think i will also need an aggregated library support ;)
1732828954119.png1732828969998.png
the old flashcart i have for NDS are not working anymore (1 NDSTT and 1 EX4i ), will obviously use it for the games i already own and some homebrew.

since the previous Toocki C to C cable i bought is so good ... decided to get a 90° angle one ("never have too much USB cable" ... that's a motto )
1732829277887.png

also i remade my account on Amazon using the phone app and my phone number ...
i could get the back cover for 17chf (AliExpress one was 38chf) and bonus, i will receive it next wednesday (planned)
718TGbvJIZL._AC_SY550_.jpg
for 17chf o_O hell yeah :rockout: (JSAUX official store also) the bundle look impressive, 2 extra XG cover and, even tho they say "buttons removed from the original console", the reviews confirmed, button cap for the sticks and back buttons, imho just the bundled screwdriver would cost at least 10chf locally

annndddd that's it for the black friday deals for me ;)

my 8 days holidays from the 9 to 17 dec gonna be great!

I mean, people post shoes and bicycles and what not here...
I'm sure that thing has a very basic 4-bit MCU in it...

I'm picking one of these up tomorrow after I go eyeball one at the local Best Buy. $2 more than Amazon but I can have it to play with tomorrow. I have to get a friend to help me move it because the box won't fit in my 2024 Corolla Hatchback XSE. I plan on connecting it to my top signature PC, it should look great with the Asus Tuff 4090 GPU.

My better half has been bitching about cleaning up the living room (it's full of band gear, guitars and computer parts) so a new 65" 4k TV combined with my big audio system gives me incentive to at least clean everything off the living room sofa. That Hisense has the best reviews of any 65" non-OLED TV plus a two year warranty that's doubled by my Visa credit card plan. I really do have to stop buying things while on large doses of prescribed pain meds, I spend money like a drunken sailor. https://www.hisense-usa.com/televisions/hisense-65-class-u8-series-mini-led-uled-4k-google-tv-65u8n

If one were to be pedantic, biomechanical technology is still technology. Lots of science and development there.

I have the EZ-FLASH Jr. for the Game Boy/Color. It works and even supports RTC, but Krikzz's Everdrive-GB X7 is lightyears ahead of it, I kind of regret selling mine, they're costing a fortune these days. Extreme battery drain though, it's easily the hungriest flash cart I've ever had. My Pocket wouldn't run 2 hours on duracells with it and the IPS screen mod.

My DSi is modded with Twilight Menu, so I can load ROMs directly off the SD card slot. I haven't used it much lately though... it's a matte red :p

I actually like HiSense stuff, best of the chinesium brands IMO. Word of advice though, the software is a bit rough around the edges on them. Most irritating bit is the autoupdate will interrupt tv with no way to turn it off other than dcing from wifi. Great as a dumb tv with external streaming though.

For me? I ended up buying a 8-port 10Gb switch.

It was $100 off msrp when I bought it, still pricey but better priced than any other I could find, and it will be nice to have all my 10Gb hardware operating at full speed.

I dislike gaming with headphones nowadays... all this hype about them being able to do surround sound with "virtual" 7.1 is just marketing mumbo jumbo imo. Tried it with a pair of audio technica headphones but it just doesn't cut it. So I decided to go back to the real way of delivering surround sound with real speakers!
Logitech & Steel series are the only manufacturers in this market afaik without using sound bars. However Steel series product is more expensive than the Logitech solution, at least in my country. Logitech's Z-5500 was the last one of these systems I used & quite some yrs ago, but the LED screen on the control console started to flicker so that was that...
I've even upgraded the speaker wire that came with the Z-906 cause' they were cheap & thin. Running speaker wire along side power cables can be problematic with interference & besides I noticed a nice uplift in clarity so It was worth it imo.
Takes playing games to a whole new audio experience! :)

I still have two sets of Z5500's in my inventory. I moved the best of the two out of the storage unit last Saturday and brought it back to the apartment. I replaced the stock speakers with far nicer ones from Xfinity years ago, a massive noticeable improvement. I still haven't decided what I'm going to use it with since I have so much Pro recording studio gear crammed into this place and none of it is hooked up at the moment.

I've been through several sets of Z5500's. I was buying them dirt cheap ($25 for the cheapest) and flipping them for huge profits on Ebay. I sold the $25 set for $400 around 10-11 years ago. I paid $75 and $100 for the two I've kept. The speakers are their weakest link, I got the Xfinity's thrown in with a Craigslist deal on a Yamaha receiver I flipped. Sold the receiver for a profit and kept the speakers. They're the same size as the Logitech ones but vastly better sounding.

Just ordered a dinky PC with an Intel N100 with 12GB of RAM and Win11 to be used as a HTPC as I don't like the built in OS on TV, I find them slow and unwieldy. Should be getting it next week, I honestly don't know if it's good enough for my needs, I will have to try it out. I got it to replace my aging i7 4770K + GTX 1080 as a HTPC which is running Win10 (which is a concern for me seeing that support will end next year).

Sadly their black friday deals were kind of meh. I need a new headset, but not at those prices.
Black friday made me upset due to my headset being £45 cheaper now. They are worth the money tbh

It seems to vary a lot between countries, I haven't seen anything really attractive when it comes to Black Friday deals.
45 quid is a fair chunk of money though.

Got tired of waiting for a better deal and ordered Amazon's sn850x 2 TB for $124.

DCS needs breathing room. And I think MSFS2024 will have more local data very soon, after the fiasco so far...

it's still not a bad deal really, you can get a 2tb nvme for $85 full 7k read/write (no dram cache, but i hear on windows that doesn't matter so much anymore)

with checkout code IPC1124

thats a deal i saw recently posted anyway, not sure if the code is still active or not.

edit: yes code still works for $5 off

Speaking of Kenwood, I have a new headunit on the way to replace the aftermarket one that came in the daily, along with a PnP adapter harness and some depinning tools so I can fix the vamp/T tap solution that whoever did the previous install used. A dozen plus T taps instead of an adapter harness which explains the audio issues I've been having with the current aftermarket unit. I'm also replacing the rear door speakers while I'm at it (already replaced the front door and components).

Rear speakers: https://www.jbl.com/car-speakers/STAGE3+627.html

It's a 2008 MDX and I'm still using the factory amplifier and the stock speaker system is mostly 2 ohm speakers. There's a company that specializes in aftermarket upgrades for Acura here in the states and that is what they offered as upgrades and it included adapters to install in OEM locations (factory is 5.25" woofers). They also have Pioneer, Infinity, and Kicker, but I wasn't going to spend a large amount on parts for a daily.

I'm eventually going to upgrade to an 8 channel JBL DSP amp and do something a bit more custom for the subwoofer (still will be OEM location/stealth).

im not too educated with audio combinations, but i have my daily and wanted something simple that i didnt have to wire in amps and stuff, also the sony i have comes with a good class D amp, so thats nice, i got alpine speakers because they go right into my car doors without any holes needed, i guess japan car + japan speaker = win lol
