I agree, Its a Trap by M$ to conform to their standards. Its a cracked review as it cross references your hardware with current prices and computes a score. Everyone knows if you have Win7 Ultimate(cause you paid more) you get a higher score.

Ok, so I may not be 100% accurate but it is a slanted analysis of your system.

Heres mine.
I believe Raid does change score. I'm running 2 SSD's in Raid 0, I started with only 1 and when I switched tor aid 0, my score jumped from 6.5 to 7.1.
Maybe it wasn't the raid but since that was the only difference I have to assume it was.

When i was running one hard drive my score was 5.4 and with two drives on raid 0 its 5.9 but thats not big of a jump. i def can tell the difference in speed on boot-up and installation

If your not running SSD's you can't get more then 5.9
Any platter drive whether raided or not will not beat 5.9
You need SSD to get higher.

Nope, 5.9 is the absolute max score with a platter type drive.

SSD's aren't for everyone. I like to upgrade and try out the new stuff.
Price performance they probably aren't worth the money, but if you can justify the price of a couple raptors in raid, I would say the price of a couple SSD's in raid is actually a better price performance ratio because the speed with SSD makes raptors look pretty bad. So if ones worth it, I think the other is...but thats just my opinion.

I'm not sure about the largest, but I did see I can buy one thats 1 tb locally now but its over 4000$

Most people I know (including myself) are just using it as a system disk and put most of our software on another storage disk.
Run only apps that do alot of HDD writing when used on the system drive.
Games with huge textures and such are much better on an SSD.

Everything stock; I bet it would make quite a diffrence for the GPU when I overclock it to my gaming-clocks of 700/875mhz (from 550/750mhz).
