Pong when I was 7 or so, and some kind of tank battle thing. LOL, I guess that was early 70's.

By the time there were game ratings I was an adult. So...

DooM.. then straigth to Quake 2, Action Quake and Quake 3. then i stopped playing online. did a little Unreal Tournement for a while. 36 years old now. cant play this stuff anymore. i hate being killed over and over again just to respawn and do it again. 10 years of respawning does that to you. im getting old. i only play single player games now. at my phase. Fallout 4, Hitman 2016, Farcry 3 and 4, Borderlands 2. open world games are the best ..charackter building. like Fallout 4.. you fight. build ourself up and also a home.. or a town and people with you. open world Single player games with a story. take the Fallout 4 Engine and make a story. roaming the earth for what ever reason and you got yourself a good game.. Like Skyrim.. you can live in the past.. or the fallen future (Fallout 4) - just being the long living hero. not fucking respawning every minute :/ ..but i Have always have a good computer ready for what ever games are out there. I7 5820K @ 4.4 Ghz, Gtx 1070 and a 24" 144 Monitor. play at 1080p and never use AA. 100+ FPS. an old FPS player never goes back. i want Ultra setting at all games or i dont play them. but never use AA at fast phasing games. you move to fast to notice :/ ..140mm fans at slow motion in my case, even at my Kraken X61 CPU cooler. just silent, massive single player machine and using Lightboost at 120Hz. and thats also it. when you play games like Fallout 4 (heavily modded) at ultra.. modded, with a good computer, graphic card and monitor. then you see what games can do today. there is no shortige of story's or programmers. most of our games are held back because of hardware. Imagine a computer with 844 Ghz, 420 Core CPU , with a 42 Ghz GPU and a 688 TB memory. this will come one day. so imagine the games that will follow.

And it's also like this. people sell stuff to make a living. if you have a bad product people will not buy it and you will go out of buissness. and the product dies with you. but Computer hardware and games seems to be thriving. this is nature of men so it seems. this is what we humans want on this planet. we play games. and 4K resulution and other hardware will follow. because we buy the hardware and by buying it we express our will to go that way. we work and give them money and they build what we want. and as long as we want it, work and give them our money we will have better computers. but... the stories that the games are about can not be bought. because these are the stories of human people. where we came from and where are we going.. what was and what will be. what makes us scared and what we would like to be. the wonders of the human mind. just as a image in a human brain can see itself.. so are games. from one person to another. games are expression. but we no longer tell stories around the campfire. we make stories and games now. and we give them to others. a story. and to read the book you need a Computer. and the story is not of a distant person. a story with a option. and you deside.

I guess this i what you get from floating on a rock, circling the sun. for millions of years :/ ..always looking at the stars and asking "what is this?" and then we just play some game until we find out ;)

Don't forget Strip Poker :p, or maybe that one got passed you :p. As for the 90's i moved on to simulators like Gunship \ Apache.

Remember Quake popping up and UT some time after but gave up on Quake after the 3rd and UT2000 and Doom was in there too. Doom was in the mix to around that time but i was more drawn to Sims than any thing as they gave more of a challenge. Diablo being one of the few but cannot remember it being adult but i would of been over 16 by them so did not care either way lol.

1995. I used to do my homework at my mom's office, and they've just received their first PC.
After successfully completing my homework, I had 1 hour of videogames (since all the paperwork was still done on the typewriter, that's all it was used for).
The selection was excellent for a kid of my age: Raptor, Doom, SeXoniX, and DOS ports of Prince of Persia 1-2 and Dune.

i have to be honest....as much as id LIKE to tell you some profound story about my life in the 90's, it would be a lie mostly...I smoked weed, Screwed anything with boobs and a nice body( and some with NOT so nice bodies), and iirc I started college in the mid point too .....OH and the booze.

My life was not virtous.

Ps. Never played strip poker, i. DO remember a game called "hide the teacup" though ;)

i have to be honest....as much as id LIKE to tell you some profound story about my life in the 90's, it would be a lie mostly...I smoked weed, Screwed anything with boobs and a nice body, and iirc I started college in the mid point too .....OH and the booze.

My life was not virtous.

Well i had just got out of a 5 1/2 year relationship by 1993 :p, young woman are a pain so went back to what made me happy, with the added bonus of having a off switch.

Wasn't until 2001 i thought it's about high time and actually started to travel all over the UK \ Wales \ Scotland and actually got a random message of a some one of Yahoo which who i have been happily married since just after 911.
