I'll be waiting until I can use freesync on it. 1440 looks pretty damn good and video cards are not increasing in speed thanks to shitty fabs, so there's no need.

So far I am loving my ASUS VX238H without a doubt. The response time is so smooth and the picture is to die for. I have another one hooked up to my HDMI cable box, live sports games look incredible! So to answer the question, not for a while.

Haven't given it any consideration. Besides, my single 7970 would suck gaming at 4k anyway. I'm fine gaming at 1080p for now.

A Titan can't even consistently push 2560x1600 (which is why I downgraded back to my 1920x1200). Don't even talk about 4K for gaming on a single card.

Can we get an intermediate 16:10 resolution like 2240*1400 pretty please?

I play FPS games mostly, so Benq XL2411T 144 Hz combined with Lightboost was my pick. instead of any higher resolution monitor. But when 4K monitors become 120/144 hz i might get one of those :)

With 4K Gaming being the latest marketing buzzword, what are your thoughts about it ?

I won't buy a 4K monitor until Microsoft releases a version of Windows that doesn't look like shit at high res -- right now even 1600p monitors look like crap -- yes, they fit more on the screen, but they just cause more eyestrain in the process and don't enhance the image quality in any way, (games aside).

until they become affordable (less than 400 euros) and also until the gpu's are able to handlle them and with that i mean gpu's around the 200 euro price point.
