where are the 8 series and up physx drivers?

We had a news post here saying that Nvidia was going to release some drivers that enabled physx on geforce 8 and up. Where are they?

Only on certian cards, the 8800GT and GTX I beleive. The next ones are supposed to be all the DX10 cards.

Edit: And I can't fucking wait. I hope I can make my onboard video do my physx while keeping SLI enabled on my 9600GTs

hey will I be able to install my 8500gt ant 8600gts at the same time? 8500gt gets to by physx, 8600gts video of course.

And would overclocking my "physx" card do any good?

Yes, you would be able to run your 8500 for physics and your 8600 for gfx.
No, you probably won't see any gains from OCing the 8500, the ageia cards are less powerful than a 5500FX I hear.
You probably would see a difference in 3dmark though.

Eh, there's no straight answer to that. I've seen mixed things with the crazy modded drivers (177.39 for instance) where it shows that all games get gains where some don't get any gains.

What forceware drivers are you using, hat?

Yes, it is.
NVIDIA PhysX benefit from the GPU clocks, It's mean it will affect NVIDIA PhysX performence.
Try it with Vantage, only small inrease of GPU core will get you few hundred point in Physx test.
With me, I got 3.5k more in Physx test just to get my GPU clock from 700MHz -> 730MHz.

Go back and read the thread again, 1 We're talking about using the 8500 for CUDA and 2 I said the only place he WOULD see a gain is in 3dmark.

vantage scores count if the nvidia GPU you use to render physics does ONLY that right? it was only unfair before because it was using the gfx card to do physx which did not give an accurate representation of how the system would cope doing gfx and physx at the same time...something like that...
