I've seen that octagonal mesh used on several mods in the forums- where do you guys get this stuff? The small diamond wire mesh used for masonry just doesn't cut it.

thanks,
gimp

whew that was speedy

my guess is that this mesh has been repurposed from something else- anyone know what the original use is so i can attempt to get it cheaper?

Not the same thing. The gutter screens have wider opening, plus they're more likely to bend, etc. You want modder's mesh, nothing else.

I picked up a pair of 3ft by 6in gutter cards at home depot for 1.36 a piece. Very sturdy- yet still workable. I also picked up 4 cans of spray paint- when i was checking out the clerk carded me- I asked why- she said it was a state law that you had to be over 18 to buy spray paint- i stormed out of the store- came back in 5 min later and had the guy in front of me inline make the purchase XD
