Took me 10 seconds to Google the manual and scan through for "JBAT"

That was too easy. you should've made it a riddle, or a treasure map. Maybe encoded the directions in a recipe or something to make it even harder to figure out... come on, you're a WIZZARD!

Also, MSI has it mislabeled on the actual mobo:

I already had the answer young man, but thank you for your assistance. I stated earlier, I was running on one cup of coffee which did not render me able to go and find the box and "RTFM". I however am on coffee #2 and feeling slightly more spritely for a 175KG gentleman. Much thanks though! :D :fear:

Now, let the memory overclocking commence! If I change the title, can I keep using this thread for troubleshooting instead of having threads everywhere Mr @W1zzard , sir?

New topic, new thread is best. And it helps to have the mobo name in the thread title ;)

On top of that, I have learned (the hard way) to download a copy of the manual and store it somewhere safe.
Some appliances seem to live longer than the manufacturer is willing to keep the manuals on their website. There are internet archives for that, but I feel better having copies in Google Drive.

Fwiw, when the reset CMOS is an actual jumper, you don't even need a manual. It's the only simple jumper on the motherboard. And if it's a button, just look at the text next to it. You can't know this at first, but after you look for one 5-10 times, you learn ;)

I am very much at the learning stage right now. Feel like I'm back at school and trying to learn there instead of skive off and play Street Fighter 2 on snes at the boots in town. I'm still good at Street Fighter 2, but left school early...

Edit I'm getting a new mobo that has a button on the back to reset Cmos, so that'll be easier than getting on my hands and knees with a screwdriver.
