Whether Noctua NH-D14 SE 2011 will fit my Asus M5A97 R2

Hi,

I have planned to buy a new cooler for my CPU. I have a motherboard Asus M5A97 R2 and FX 6300. Whether the cooler Noctua NH-D14 SE2011 will support the mount.

Also I want to know the differences between both Noctua Nh-D14 and Noctual NH-D14 SE2011?

The SE2011 version is a special edition for Intel's Core i7-39xx/38xx (Sandy Bridge-E) high-end platform and comes equipped with the new SecuFirm2™ mounting system for LGA2011.

You want the normal version and not this 2011 version.

I have the normal version and its a great cooler, also comes with the AMD and intel mounting kits so it should work fine on your mobo.

you can use nh d15 but you need the NM-I115x mounting kit
