If you must, go with the Knight.

ASUS Silent Knight is pretty good. I just got one for my HTPC a few weeks ago and its pretty bad ass. Its cool having the fan inside the heatseak.

I have a Phenom 9500(hot mofo) and I get 25-32c idle(depending on the day) and while watching a movie it gets up to 38-40c. I have it OC'd to 2.8ghz too.

Depends on the airflow in your case and the ambient.

A well vented case really helps.

EDIT: Some cable management would help as well.
