Which AMD RX 6000 card would you buy?

Well as expected here in Gougelandastan retailers are sticking to AMD's MSRP of $1049 and $1159 for RX6800/6800XT buuuuuut there's no damn stock to had anywhere I can however order one but dog knows how long it'll take to get to my sticky little hands

Because the price diff. on paper between 6800 and XT is only 70$. If that difference remains in real world prices (which now thanks to Nvidia are a thing) most people will buy 6800XT, at 600$ price the difference not significant.
But if 6800XT stock is nonexistent and 6800 is available will people wait or buy 6800?

Board partners like Sapphire, PowerColor, Asus, MSI, ASRock, XFX and so on all have tons of supply coming next week. Not sure how the pricing is going to be like though. But hopefully they are fairly priced. Though it would have been nice if AMD also released the 1440p GPUs > RX 6700XT & 6700 non XT versions.

This is an easy one, RX 6800XT. More performance than the RTX 3080, more V-RAM, less heat, lower power consumption, lower price, better drivers, more features.

I'll have to wait a bit longer for a lower version like a 6700XT or a 6700. I bought Doom Eternal and refuse to play it till I upgrade my GPU . Just want a reliable 1440p with MAX eye Candy.

That was my plan originally, but
1. The release dates and specs are uncertain,
2. If speculations are correct, and the 6700 XT is planned to have 2560 stream processors, then I won't expect it to be a lot different from the 5700 XT apart from the raytracing capability (which is slow on RDNA2 anyway) and SAM (which only gives you 5% extra performance maximum).

The above reasons made me go with the 5700 XT for now, and skip the Ampere/RDNA2 generation altogether.

Edit: By the way, I see you have an RX 580. I played DOOM:E on a GTX 1660 Ti with absolutely no stutter whatsoever. I'm sure you'd be fine too.

RX 5700T was the best Graphicscard AMD ever released, it have a Hardwarebug it have stutter if u use HDMI for sound.
Not Nvidia or AMD earlier published a piece of shit like this, but AMD can do it, they better than all.

I played DOOM twice on maximum settings without a hiccup. And I've tried DOOM Eternal for about 1 hr. and pulled myself away from it, just want to safe it for a new GPU. Also want to be sure I have enough GPU horsepower for the anticipated S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 & the rumored METRO Exodus Redux or was that a Expansion Pack to extend the game.
But I do eventually want to replace my ASRock Motherboard & 1700X CPU with the new ZEN3 & possibly a ASUS ROG. Right now it won't go into sleep mode, and its driving me nuts. I've tried everything in the book.

Well I would have bought a 6800 vanilla IF it would have been available near the MSRP. But in reality all I could get for a reasonable price was a used 2080Ti.

I would buy the RX 6700XT or RX 6700. Or even possibly a RX 6600XT if one exists. Just need it for 1440p gaming at the upmost maximum PQ. And preferably with a rate of 80Hz up to 144Hz, depending on the game of course.

All the card being listed are not on my price range. I'm very itcging to upgrade my 970 but i'm looking for somthing in the $300 (and below).

I agree. My budget is 400 euro (including tax). Thing is my current setup is more then enough for 1080p, so I see no reason to upgrade just yet. I'll probably skip this generation as well, and wait for a card that can play games in 4k @ 60fps+ that fits in my price range.

I was a bit excited for the 3060ti, but price in my country is closer to 600 euro, 50% over msrp... Most likely due to availability and demand. Right now I'm waiting for the RX 6700 to be reviewed - maybe that will be able to deliver constant 60 fps at 4k for 400e...

Right now I don't even own a current gen desktop... My newest desktop is a 9 year old i7 3930k with a Vega64 graphics card, and it sits unused on my desk since my current daily driver is an asus fa506iv.

I'll build a current gen desktop again when a gpu that fits my needs and budget launches - preferably something from AMD since i view nvidia as mainly responsible for the gpu price hike.

These people don't understand economics otherwise they wouldn't blow their money on a pro-monopolizing corporations which would reduce consumer choice and drive up prices. They also can't help but come in to a public discussion and display their lack of respect for others.
