Which Card ?? ATI Radeon X1900GT or NVidia GeForce 7900GS

so i dont think 2X1950PRO's well beat a 1950XT buy much cuz Boneface got 7K with one card but at 3.6GHz

but i dont want to spend that much $ cuz when games turn to only SM 4.0 im going to have to upgrade again so 2xPRO's is out
cuz is the $100 more worth getting the 1950XT over the 1900GTrev2 cuz i know the GT can be Volt Moded but i dont know how high that can go and plus if i f*ck up there's 150 down the drain

2x1 Go Corsair Twin2X 6400C3,

cuz I know the card well work better with a C2D not only the CPU score but the card well get more FPS cuz even my card went up in FPS
with just at 2.8GHZ on my E6400

One X1950XT alone is more than enough for 1024x768 I guess.
Crossfire only show its advantage when you put a large load on the card.
3DMark05 at 1024x768 is piece of cake for X1950.
As you see, the gap between single card and CF widens when graphic quality increase.

Go get X1950 Pro if you don't want to invest too much right now, because you can always get another 1 if you need more graphic power.
The X1950XT will need a X1950CF(X1950XTX with CF engine = $400+) to build CF.

Well i just noticed this theres a X1950PRO with 16(48 Pixel shader processor)
for $220 would it be around the same as a XT at stock speeds

And i know the XT can get 688/999

and that score of 5k+...Im not sure but i think its a good score

well thats what i want, but its would cost more $ if i i want to go CrossFire and plus i wont get the Full power out of the cards cuz of the 16-4PCI-E slots and if i did want it i would have to get a new mobo

u shouldnt worrie about crossfire, just keep ur x1900gt(rev2) or x1950pro/xt for use as a PPU and get a 2nd or 3rd gen dx10 card in a year or so(im guessing 1.5-2 years b4 we need dx10 cards) by then the x19*0 card will be perfect for use as a HIGH powered ppu and whatever card you get will have all the new fetures you will want, cf/sli are silly, mostly just for bragging rites, to me its better to just get a great card every couple years then to get 2 older cards to try and hold off needing a new one.

i wanted the Pro cuz if latter if i needed to get it in CF it would cost less cuz im sure there still going to be games for SM3 when SM4 games start coming out like SM4/3 right

yeah, just get a normal x1900/1950xt then and vf900 cooler, dont worrie about crossfire, worse case u gotta buy a crossfire card and use the dongle(not a big deal)

as i said i wouldnt worrie about crossfire ur better off just getting 1 xt card then when dx10 cards price drop and are more mature(2nd or 3rd gen) grab one of them and use the 19*0 card as a ppu(phsyics prosessor)

read some of the reviews, they basickly make the game look and feel more real by using a sepret card to caculate phsyics, so you can shoot walls and have them take realistic damnage and such, google for reviews and you will fine many, also their are some videos of ghost recon i think it is(the one game that came out with the agea ppu) that are pretty neet.
amd(ati) is working on allowing you to use a 2nd video card to do phsyics and has demo'ed this on havoc based games, they reccomend at least a 1600pro as ppu(see x1300xt) when this is finnly ready for us gamers(waiting on game support then drivers for gen pub will be seen)
the x1900gt or better will be perfect for use as a PPU the massive shader power gives these cards horsepower to spare in this kind of application!!!!
