I'm not sure a 3850x2 can be modded the same way a 3870 can but it will be here tomarrow. I still have a 9800 gtx aswell it didn't sell a guy back out on me. So I'm still not sure which I'm keeping.

What I was asking on XS forum was for a step by step guide, now that you posted stating you explained how to flash the card in the techpowerup thread(which you didn't) how is that going to help me? well so far I'm not impressed with the fan on this 3850x2 squeals very badly. Also the card is acting like it's a single 3850 not a 3850 x2 scoring about 1180 3dmark06. RMA on this piece of Shit. The fan reminds me of a kid scrapping his nail on the chaulk board at school. The reviewer for this card was on crack.

Update the 3870x2 is total junk

don't buy it the cooler sounds horrible. If I had to do it all over again I would buy a 8800gts like this one and after the rebate pocket the 100.00+ I saved not getting a 9800gtx, or the 120.00 for the 3850x2.
