Which case manufacturer has the most original designs?

2016 has seen huge moves in the PC case industry, including some very fast trends, such as horizontal partition, RGB LED lighting, 5.25-inch drive bays going the way of the dinosaur, multiple radiator mounts, and so on. This got us wondering, which case maker in your opinion, stands out as having the most original designs?

I don't think I've thought much about cases since the 3dgameman days.

Unfortunately, the motherboard tray is not removeable.

I guess to add to that, the last case I thought "wow, that's nice" was the FT02 by Silverstone, so yeah, it's been a while.

Thermaltake has some neat designs... Lian Li too, but they are more, well, missionary.

"Don't really care about original or innovative" would have been a good option too.

I want quiet (not silent, because I want airflow), room for everything I put in my case, good airflow and cooling front USB inputs and I am good.
Whoever does those basic things best for my needs in a QUALITY manner that isn't super-expensive gets my business.

I think INWin is run by nutcases (no pun intended) and they have come out with some pretty bizzare designs - thus they automatically take the cake for 'innovative'.

LianLi, Phanteks, NZXT etc.. all come out with a nice, generally usable design/feature every once in a while, but then they all immediately copy each other so it's kind of impossible to gauge...

I guess Lian Li is second because every once in a while they decide to make a sculpture case (boat, train, hotel lol) or a desk etc.

Lian Li produced all exclusive aluminum, that also has a couple adventures into steel/plastics in a couple off brand experiments, like the Lancool K62 which I had (still have).

Inwin or lian li. Literally everyone else doesn't make anything new or copies off of them. Except maybe nzxt or phanteks but I literally wouldn't touch anything outside those 4.

My current next build is waiting to be assembled inside a Lian Li case. Compact but ATX horizontal mobo was a must for me - only Lian Li suited the need.

I am really surprised to see corsair do as well as it is in this poll. Corsair an exemplary job designing cases, but originality is not a term I would use for them. When I think of truly original cases, I think in-win, but they charge and arm and a leg for those cases. Corsair, among others try to stick within a more broadly appealing price range along with other companies. I would say corsair is a master of practicality, getting the most features in a space, but not originality.

The question means little to me and hard to tell, much more concerned who does the best cases at a better price than who loads the way in design.

My vote is for NZXT just because I love my Noctis 450 and think it has great styling. But if I was being unbiased I would say In Win has the most original design. But I think In Win cases are crazy expensive if I remember right.

Silverstones RV02 and 01 were great everything after that was fugly I do love my RV02 and it's 3 x 180mm air penetrator fans pushing a cool and quiet 100CFM each through the case

The best thing with the RV02 is the fact that silverstone came to the conclusion that if hot air rises why try pushing it sideways when pushing it up is a natural thing to do

no GPU PCB bending either as it all hangs vertical

cables are an easy thing to get at as they're all at the top not hanging out the back like everyone else's case

Ft05 is the smallest design of a RV02, I like it better, because its very compact. At nowaday we dont need ODD anymore...
