Which Case?

hi ,im looking for a new case but tbh i have no idea whats good and what is not

has to be under £100/€100/$200 and needs decent cooling as my current case is rather warm ,standard ATX with 3 80mm case fans.
Also it needs to be able to take modern gfx cards GTX/GX2 etc so ive got room for upgrades later on. I dont need a PSU as i have a brand new 1 still boxed up waiting for my new case

any recommendations would be appreciated

Do you want something more modern and flashy or something classy and classic? Do you want all 120mm fans, or does it not matter? Do you want the best thermal performance at the cost of noise, or do you want a near-silent PC?

There are a lot of cases out there, so any other preferences you have would help us narrow the choice down.

That one is also kind of generic though, what kind of style are you looking for? Side window? Colorful? Sleek? Best cooling? Simple?

heh spsoe i shouldve mention that

not bothered about noise at all,as long as its cood at cooling and is well made.

fan sizes not fussy and same goes for windows ,im hopeless at modding so itll be staying as it is.As long as it does the job im not to fussy about looks ,id deffo like front/top usb tho as crawling around the back is a P.I.T.A

i dont really want anything that has the psu mounted at the bottom of the case as i doubt my psu cables would be long enough

stackers are piss cheap on ebuyer at the moment, they also have the 810 if you're not into doors

edit: i just noticed you said ocuk, however this case is £165 with delivery from there (ebuyer does free delivery)

Grings ,thanks ,that stakker looks quite tempting tbh but it doesnt say on the webby and i cant find any info about it... does it have the psu at the top or the bottom?

if its at the top i will deff consider the stakker,lots of spaces for fans etc is just what im after.

really the only reason i said from ocuk was because i have an account with them ,but to save some dosh and get that stakker that appears to be much cheaper it could be worth making an account with ebuyer

Dude i cant stress this enough use ebuyer there customer care is a thousand times better if you have any problems and have to rma the case they pickup for free also you wont have any problems getting it exchanged.

OC uk are not what they used to be people are being ripped off by them because of there small print terms and conditions which are border lineing illegal they are a nightmare with rma.

even if ebuyer is £5 more id still use them for peace of mind.

they have actually taken a few lines out of there terms and conditions since i last looked which basically said if your product is not available they will choose the replacement for you of equal pricing which basically means you dont get what you want.

I avoid ocuk like the plague now.

thanks all ,ive decided to go with the Stakker 831 spec edt (the Armour is a bit over what id like to pay tbh and those flap things kinda put me off)

will be ordering in the next week or so (Ebuyer) as it is cheaper there than ocuk anyway

Unfortunatly i had to put the case buying on hold due to lack of funds

anyway now im rdy to order but it seems that Ebuyer is out of stock of the Stacker and no mention if they are getting more in

so any other suggestions?

ive seen a couple i like the look of but i know my psu cables wont reach so i REALLY dont want a bottom mounted PSU.

needs to be approx £100 ish or less (maybe a little more if its a exceptional case)
Good cooling essential
fit a large GFX card in with nps like 8800gtx/9800gtx
top mounted PSU

ive been hunting for hours tbh and cant really find anything that ticks all the above boxes

TT Armor very spacy case. Cooling is good all though you should pick up a extra icage for it

I'm about to mod mine just picking a few other things up for it. If dust is a issue all the front is foam filtered. OR you could remove the foam to max air intake. I would have 3 icages in the front of mine if i did not need 3 front 5 1/4 bays for some thing else.

There's about 5-6 inches space from end of mobo to any of my drives.
