Hello!
I've been thinking of upgrading my 780 Ti which has lasted me a good two years but seems to be lagging behind lately.
I have a few ideas, but I really need to know should I go with a reference cooler or a aftermarket one. I understand that Aftermarkets are better 99.9% of the time but are generally ones that blow hot air into the case.
I have a very hot room. No airflow, very little room and almost constant 80-85*F ambient temps (~26*C-29*c) at all times except for days that outside temperatures are at or below 60*F. My EVGA Dual Classified 780 Ti (ACX) would always run @ 84*C whenever I played anything that was somewhat intensive. I want the hybrid ones like the EVGA FTW Hybrid or MSI's Sea Hawk X but they're either unreleased or too expensive for my taste.
As you can see from the picture, the left side of the case (which is open) is blowing right into the boxspring, the back of the computer is blowing straight into the wall and the front (which is also open aside from dust filters) which is blowing air in. I plan to get some more fans to help out more with the cooling and switch the air direction but am still indecisive on the model I should get.
So, I'm asking some more experienced and intelligent people on advice. Should I go reference or aftermarket?
Thank you.
